Overview

The Raymarine E70483-00-NAG is a 15.6-inch multifunction display with built-in single-channel High CHIRP sonar, HybridTouch control, and Navionics Plus North America chart coverage. It fits 12V and 24V DC systems with an 8 to 32 VDC operating range, and the full-HD 1920 x 1080 IPS display is rated at 1200 nits for clear viewing at an exposed helm in strong daylight.

This version is supplied without a transducer, which makes it a practical choice for boats that already have a compatible transducer plan or are replacing an older display while keeping other sonar hardware in place. The built-in GNSS receiver updates at 10 Hz, the housing is rated IPX6 and IPX7, and the internal High CHIRP sonar reaches up to 900 feet depending on water conditions.

On a larger center console, pilothouse, sportfish boat, or cruising helm, this unit can sit at the center of the navigation system and handle charting, depth, radar, autopilot control, and onboard data from one screen. It is especially well suited to refits where screen size, network integration, and keypad backup matter as much as touch control.

Key features
  • 15.6-inch optically bonded IPS display with 1920 x 1080 resolution, 1200-nit brightness, and wide 88-degree viewing angles.
  • HybridTouch control combines touchscreen operation with keypad input for times when the boat is moving hard or the screen is wet.
  • Built-in single-channel High CHIRP sonar with depth capability up to 900 feet depending on conditions; transducer is not included with this package.
  • Internal GNSS receiver tracks GPS, Galileo, GLONASS, and BeiDou with a 10 Hz refresh rate for smooth chart movement and fast position updates.
  • Network-ready connections include dual RayNet Gigabit Ethernet ports, NMEA 2000, NMEA 0183, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 4.0, analog video input, and two front microSDXC card slots.
  • IPX6 and IPX7 water protection and support for 8 to 32 VDC input make it suitable for both open-helm and enclosed-helm installations.
Compatibility and fit

This display is built to anchor a Raymarine network and can share data with additional Axiom displays, radar, Evolution autopilot, FLIR cameras, and external sonar modules over RayNet. NMEA 2000 and NMEA 0183 support also make it easier to tie in AIS, heading sensors, engine data, tank monitoring, and instrument information on boats that already have mixed electronics at the helm.

Before ordering for a dash refit, check both panel space and cable clearance. The display measures 17.8 x 10.2 x 2.72 inches, and the required depth behind the panel increases once power, networking, and sonar cables are connected.

Installation and setup

For a clean helm install, the front-facing microSDXC slots make chart updates, software updates, and route transfers easier without reaching behind the console. This is useful on enclosed helms and flush-mounted dashboards where service access is limited.

Sonar is built into the display, but this package does not include a transducer. The unit uses a 25-pin transducer connection, so it is worth checking the existing transducer and cable plan before installation, especially when reusing sonar hardware from an earlier setup.

Use on board

This is a strong fit for skippers who want one large screen to manage navigation and depth information at the same helm position. It also makes sense in upgrade projects where the boat already has compatible sonar, radar, or Raymarine networking in place and the goal is to move to a larger display without changing every component at once.

Quality Boat Parts is a reseller. Many items include a manufacturer’s warranty, and all warranty service is handled directly by the manufacturer. We do not manage or administer warranty claims on behalf of customers.

Warranty terms, coverage, and duration are set by each manufacturer. Issues involving defects, repairs, or replacements must be addressed with the manufacturer’s support team. When available, the warranty period is listed on the product page. If it is not shown, contact us or the manufacturer for details before purchasing.

To start a claim, the customer must contact the manufacturer and follow their process. Keep your proof of purchase and original packaging, and register the product if the manufacturer requires it, as these are often needed for warranty service.

We are happy to help you find the right contact or documentation, but we cannot decide outcomes or intervene in claim resolutions. For guidance, email cs@qualityboatparts.com.
