Overview
The Garmin 010-12105-20 is a trolling motor mount that lets you secure a compatible Garmin scanning transducer to the lower unit of a bow-mount trolling motor.
The bracket sits close to the motor housing so the transducer is less exposed to weeds, stumps, and trailer contact, while still keeping the sonar element positioned for clean readings when the trolling motor is deployed.
This mount is used with Garmin trolling motor transducers such as GT22HW-TM, GT52HW-TM, GT24UHD-TM, and GT54UHD-TM.
Key features
- Mounting bracket for attaching a compatible Garmin scanning transducer to a trolling motor
- Low-profile shape that keeps the transducer tucked in tight to help reduce snag and impact points
- Fits Garmin trolling motor transducer models including GT22HW-TM, GT52HW-TM, GT24UHD-TM, and GT54UHD-TM
- Keeps the transducer turning with the trolling motor so the sonar view follows bow direction
- Makes it easier to route the transducer cable neatly up the trolling motor shaft with proper strain relief
Compatibility and fit
This is a hardware mount only. It is used when your transducer is intended for trolling motor installation and you want the transducer to steer with the motor.
Before final tightening, cycle the trolling motor through stow and deploy and full left to right steering to confirm the bracket and cable stay clear of the prop, hinge points, and any steering or lift-assist hardware.
Installation and setup
Attach the bracket to the trolling motor lower unit, then fasten the transducer to the bracket using the transducer mounting holes. Tighten hardware evenly so the transducer stays square and does not rotate under thrust or vibration.
Route the transducer cable up the shaft with enough slack for full steering travel, then secure it so it cannot drop into the prop. Leave a small service loop near the lower unit to reduce strain when the motor turns.
Use on board
This setup is commonly used on boats that do most of their fishing from the bow, where the trolling motor is the reference point for boat control and sonar aiming. It also helps when you want quick feedback in shallow water where transom-mounted transducers may ventilate.
Maintenance and care
After trailering or rough water, check that the mount and transducer have not shifted. In saltwater, rinse and look for trapped sand around the bracket so it does not rub the cable jacket over time.

Quality Boat Parts is a reseller. Many items include a manufacturer’s warranty, and all warranty service is handled directly by the manufacturer. We do not manage or administer warranty claims on behalf of customers.
Warranty terms, coverage, and duration are set by each manufacturer. Issues involving defects, repairs, or replacements must be addressed with the manufacturer’s support team. When available, the warranty period is listed on the product page. If it is not shown, contact us or the manufacturer for details before purchasing.
To start a claim, the customer must contact the manufacturer and follow their process. Keep your proof of purchase and original packaging, and register the product if the manufacturer requires it, as these are often needed for warranty service.
