Overview
The Perko 1060 is a plug-in type base for removable Perko pole lights, offered in 2-pin and 3-pin configurations. It is made with black polymer and chrome-plated zinc alloy, includes a black polymer insert, and fits 3/4 inch poles with a locking collar.
This base is a practical replacement or installation part for boats using removable navigation pole lights. The 3-3/4 inch x 1-3/4 inch base has a 5 degree pole rake and uses #8 screws, making it useful when matching an existing deck or stern light mounting location.
Key features
- Plug-in base for removable navigation pole lights on vessels using compatible Perko pole light series.
- Available in 2-pin and 3-pin versions to match the electrical contact layout of the pole light.
- Fits 3/4 inch poles with a locking collar for a secure pole connection at the base.
- Black polymer and chrome-plated zinc alloy construction with a black polymer insert.
- Waterproof snap-on cover helps protect the socket when the pole light is removed.
- Pigtail leads simplify connection into the boat lighting circuit during installation or replacement.
- Base dimensions are 3-3/4 inch x 1-3/4 inch with a 5 degree pole rake.
Variants
The Perko 1060 is offered in two configurations that differ by the number of electrical pins in the base.
The 2-pin version is used with compatible Perko all-round pole lights, while the 3-pin version is used with compatible Perko bi-color pole lights. The base size, 5 degree rake, 3/4 inch pole fit, pigtail leads, black polymer insert, chrome-plated zinc alloy body, and waterproof snap-on cover remain consistent across the two versions.
- 1060PB0DP, 2 pins. This version fits Perko 1343, 1348, 1400, 1445, 1451, 1455, 1456, 1465, and 1470 Series all-round pole lights.
- 10603B0DP, 3 pins. This version fits Perko 1212 and 1422 Series bi-color pole lights.
Installation and fit
Use this base when the boat is set up for a removable pole light and the pole diameter, pin count, rake, and screw pattern match the existing installation. The pin count matters: a 2-pin base and 3-pin base are not interchangeable for every light, so the replacement should match the pole light series and wiring layout already on the vessel.
The pigtail leads connect into the navigation light circuit, and the snap-on cover should be kept closed when the pole is not in use. This helps keep spray, rinse water, and deck debris out of the socket during storage, trailering, or washdown.
Use cases on board
This base suits small powerboats, fishing boats, runabouts, and other vessels that use removable stern, all-round, or bi-color pole lights. It is especially useful as a like-for-like replacement when the existing base is worn, corroded, cracked, or no longer holding the pole securely.

Quality Boat Parts is a reseller. Many items include a manufacturer’s warranty, and all warranty service is handled directly by the manufacturer. We do not manage or administer warranty claims on behalf of customers.
Warranty terms, coverage, and duration are set by each manufacturer. Issues involving defects, repairs, or replacements must be addressed with the manufacturer’s support team. When available, the warranty period is listed on the product page. If it is not shown, contact us or the manufacturer for details before purchasing.
To start a claim, the customer must contact the manufacturer and follow their process. Keep your proof of purchase and original packaging, and register the product if the manufacturer requires it, as these are often needed for warranty service.
We are happy to help you find the right contact or documentation, but we cannot decide outcomes or intervene in claim resolutions. For guidance, email cs@qualityboatparts.com.
