Overview
The Raymarine SeaTalk NG Elbow Spur Cable is a short network cable for connecting Raymarine SeaTalk NG devices to a SeaTalk NG backbone where rear clearance is limited. It is offered in two verified layouts: a 400 mm elbow-to-elbow cable and a 1 m elbow-to-straight cable.
The right-angle connector layout helps reduce strain behind instruments, displays, autopilot controllers, and other SeaTalk NG equipment mounted in shallow consoles, instrument pods, bulkheads, or helm panels. Instead of forcing a straight plug into a tight space, the elbow connection lets the cable turn close to the device and route more cleanly behind the panel.
Key features
- SeaTalk NG spur cable for linking an individual Raymarine network device to the SeaTalk NG backbone.
- Right-angle connector configuration supports cleaner cable routing where space behind the instrument is shallow.
- Useful for helm stations, cockpit instrument pods, bulkhead-mounted displays, and other areas with limited rear access.
- Available in 400 mm and 1 m lengths to match short in-panel runs or a slightly longer route to the nearest backbone connection point.
- Works as part of a SeaTalk NG installation with the appropriate backbone connection hardware, such as a T-piece or 5-way connector.
Variants
This Raymarine SeaTalk NG elbow spur cable is offered in two configurations. The connector layout and cable length change between variants, while both versions serve the same basic role as spur cables in a SeaTalk NG network.
The 400 mm option keeps both ends low-profile with elbow connectors. The 1 m option uses an elbow connector at one end and a straight connector at the other, giving more reach when the device and backbone connection are not immediately next to each other.
- A06042: Elbow to elbow connector configuration, 400 mm cable length. This version suits tight installations where both connection points benefit from a right-angle cable exit.
- A06081: Elbow to straight connector configuration, 1 m cable length. This version keeps one end low-profile at the device while allowing a standard straight connection at the other end.
Installation and setup
Use this cable as a spur, not as the main backbone run. In a typical SeaTalk NG layout, the spur connects the instrument or device to the backbone through the correct SeaTalk NG connection point. The short length helps keep the network tidy behind the dash and reduces excess cable that would otherwise need to be coiled or tied back.
Check the rear clearance of the device before choosing the configuration. An elbow connector is most helpful where a straight plug would press against a panel, pod wall, or nearby wiring. Route the cable so it is not pulled tight and so the connector is not carrying the weight of the harness.
Compatibility and fit
This cable is intended for Raymarine SeaTalk NG network installations. It is a practical match for boat owners, installers, and refit projects that need a short spur connection behind marine electronics at the helm, in the cockpit, or at an instrument station.
Shipping
We ship worldwide from the United States. Rates are calculated at checkout based on destination and package weight. Some items include free shipping, which will show automatically. Not every product is eligible for international shipping; checkout will confirm eligibility. We do not ship to PO Boxes except through USPS, and not all packages qualify.
Processing and dispatch
Most orders are verified, packed, and handed to the carrier within 1 to 2 business days. Some products may need extra handling time or ship directly from the manufacturer. For certain international orders, inventory transfers between warehouses may add time. If any delay is expected, we will let you know the dispatch date.
Delivery and tracking
Deliveries are handled by trusted carriers such as USPS, UPS, FedEx, and DHL. Estimated arrival times appear at checkout and depend on your location and the service you choose. These are estimates and can be affected by customs or carrier disruptions. A shipping confirmation with a tracking link is emailed when your order ships, and tracking may take up to 24 hours to update. You can also view tracking in your account.
Duties, taxes, and support
International customers are responsible for any customs duties, taxes, and fees charged by the destination country. If these charges are refused and a shipment returns to us, the carrier’s return cost and any re-entry customs fees will be deducted from the refund. If your order is late or you need help, contact cs@qualityboatparts.com and we will assist you.
Quality Boat Parts is a reseller. Many items include a manufacturer’s warranty, and all warranty service is handled directly by the manufacturer. We do not manage or administer warranty claims on behalf of customers.
Warranty terms, coverage, and duration are set by each manufacturer. Issues involving defects, repairs, or replacements must be addressed with the manufacturer’s support team. When available, the warranty period is listed on the product page. If it is not shown, contact us or the manufacturer for details before purchasing.
To start a claim, the customer must contact the manufacturer and follow their process. Keep your proof of purchase and original packaging, and register the product if the manufacturer requires it, as these are often needed for warranty service.
