Overview

The Victron Energy BPP900480100 is an Ekrano GX communication centre for monitoring and controlling Victron power systems from a helm, nav station, or electrical panel, using a built-in 7-inch touchscreen and an 8-70 VDC supply input.

It gives a live view of battery state of charge, power use, PV harvest, generator and shore power activity, tank levels, and temperature readings. On a boat, that makes it useful for checking the DC system before leaving the dock, watching loads during an overnight anchorage, or adjusting shore power input current when a marina pedestal has limited capacity.

The 1024 x 600 display has a maximum backlight brightness of 1000 cd/m2, with dimming through the built-in ambient light sensor or manual settings. Access is available from the touchscreen, Victron Remote Management, Remote Console over LAN or WiFi, VictronConnect for setup, and compatible Multi-Functional Display integration.

Key features
  • 7-inch touchscreen with 1024 x 600 resolution and 1000 cd/m2 maximum backlight brightness for readable system status at the helm or electrical panel.
  • Wide 8-70 VDC supply input suits common 12V, 24V, and 48V DC battery systems.
  • Communication ports include 3 VE.Direct, 1 VE.Bus, 2 VE.Can, Ethernet, WiFi, Bluetooth Smart, 2 USB host ports, and a microSD card slot.
  • Monitors battery state of charge, consumption, PV harvest, shore and generator input, tank levels, temperature measurements, and alarms when connected devices and sensors are installed.
  • Control functions include shore power input current limit, generator start and stop, system settings, diagnostics, and remote alarm follow-up.
  • Flush panel or blind hole mounting with included mounting accessories; screw-on terminal blocks help keep power and relay wiring secure.
  • Front protection rating is IP54 when mounted with the steel bracket, IP31 when mounted with springs, and IP21 at the back, so the rear of the unit should stay inside a protected console or panel space.
Installation and setup

The unit is made for an integrated panel installation rather than a loose display. It can be fitted with a cut-out for flush panel mounting, or mounted through blind holes with the supplied hardware. The body measures 124 x 187 x 29.8 mm without connectors and mounting accessories, so the space behind the panel should be checked for cable bend radius and access to terminal blocks.

Because the front and rear protection ratings differ, it belongs in a protected helm, cabin, nav station, electrical locker face, or enclosed console where the back of the unit is not exposed to spray or bilge moisture. The operating temperature range is -20 to +50 degrees C.

Electrical and system integration

For Victron systems with MultiPlus, Quattro, solar chargers, SmartShunt, VE.Direct devices, VE.Can equipment, tank senders, temperature inputs, and relay-controlled loads, the unit becomes the central screen and network gateway. The two relays are rated for DC up to 30 VDC at 3 A and AC at 1 A, 125 VAC, and can be used in supported control functions such as generator start and stop or alarms.

Remote monitoring works through the VRM portal when the installation has internet access. Local operation can stay on the touchscreen or Remote Console over LAN or WiFi, which is helpful when commissioning the system at the dock or checking settings from inside the cabin.

Use cases on board

This monitor is a strong match for cruising boats, fishing boats, and workboats that use or are being built around Victron charging, inverter, solar, and battery monitoring equipment. It is especially useful on boats with multiple charging sources, a generator, tank senders, or owners who want remote visibility while the vessel is unattended.

Shipping
We ship worldwide from the United States. Rates are calculated at checkout based on destination and package weight. Some items include free shipping, which will show automatically. Not every product is eligible for international shipping; checkout will confirm eligibility. We do not ship to PO Boxes except through USPS, and not all packages qualify.

Processing and dispatch
Most orders are verified, packed, and handed to the carrier within 1 to 2 business days. Some products may need extra handling time or ship directly from the manufacturer. For certain international orders, inventory transfers between warehouses may add time. If any delay is expected, we will let you know the dispatch date.

Delivery and tracking
Deliveries are handled by trusted carriers such as USPS, UPS, FedEx, and DHL. Estimated arrival times appear at checkout and depend on your location and the service you choose. These are estimates and can be affected by customs or carrier disruptions. A shipping confirmation with a tracking link is emailed when your order ships, and tracking may take up to 24 hours to update. You can also view tracking in your account.

Duties, taxes, and support
International customers are responsible for any customs duties, taxes, and fees charged by the destination country. If these charges are refused and a shipment returns to us, the carrier’s return cost and any re-entry customs fees will be deducted from the refund. If your order is late or you need help, contact cs@qualityboatparts.com and we will assist you.

Quality Boat Parts is a reseller. Many items include a manufacturer’s warranty, and all warranty service is handled directly by the manufacturer. We do not manage or administer warranty claims on behalf of customers.

Warranty terms, coverage, and duration are set by each manufacturer. Issues involving defects, repairs, or replacements must be addressed with the manufacturer’s support team. When available, the warranty period is listed on the product page. If it is not shown, contact us or the manufacturer for details before purchasing.

To start a claim, the customer must contact the manufacturer and follow their process. Keep your proof of purchase and original packaging, and register the product if the manufacturer requires it, as these are often needed for warranty service.

We are happy to help you find the right contact or documentation, but we cannot decide outcomes or intervene in claim resolutions. For guidance, email cs@qualityboatparts.com.
