Overview
The Vimar Neve Up is a dual 2P+E American-standard outlet module with integrated GFCI protection for 15A, 125V, 60Hz AC circuits. It combines two outlets in one 3-module flush-mounted device and comes with a mounting frame for use with a 3-module Plana or Neve Up cover plate.
On board, this layout makes sense where the vessel already uses 125V, 60Hz AC service and outlet-level ground-fault protection is wanted close to the point of use. The GFCI rated fault current is 6 mA, and the device depth is 41.1 mm, so it suits protected interior locations such as cabins, heads, galleys, or enclosed helm areas.
Key features
- Two 2P+E American-standard outlets in one 3-module device
- 15A, 125V, 60Hz rating for North American-style AC systems
- Integrated GFCI protection with 6 mA rated fault current
- Flush-mounted installation with screw fastening
- Made to pair with 3-module Plana or Neve Up cover plates
Variants
This product is offered in two color configurations.
Across the range, the change is finish color. The electrical format remains the same: two 2P+E outlets with GFCI protection, 15A, 125V, 60Hz operation, and compatibility with 3-module Plana or Neve Up cover plates.
- VM00296.CM: Color Black. This version gives the outlet a darker look that works well with black or anthracite trim and switch plates.
- VM00296: Color White. This version keeps a lighter appearance for interiors that use white plates, liners, or cabinetry.
Compatibility and fit
This outlet is part of the Neve Up modular system and is sized as a 3-module device. It is flush-mounted and fixed with screws, so the installation box and cover plate need to match that modular format before the final trim is fitted.
Electrically, it is intended for 125V, 60Hz American-standard circuits. That matters on boats set up for North American shore power or inverter output in the same format, and it should be matched to the vessel's AC distribution layout rather than mixed into 230V installations.
Installation and use on board
The body is thermoplastic, which is common for interior electrical fittings, and the low-profile depth helps when panel space is limited. With no hinged lid and a flush-mounted face, this outlet is a better match for protected accommodation spaces than for spray-exposed deck positions.
It suits refit work, new builds, and interior panel upgrades where two receptacles are needed in one opening and built-in GFCI protection is preferred at the outlet itself. It also works well when the goal is to keep the outlet aligned with Vimar modular plates already used elsewhere on the boat.

Quality Boat Parts is a reseller. Many items include a manufacturer’s warranty, and all warranty service is handled directly by the manufacturer. We do not manage or administer warranty claims on behalf of customers.
Warranty terms, coverage, and duration are set by each manufacturer. Issues involving defects, repairs, or replacements must be addressed with the manufacturer’s support team. When available, the warranty period is listed on the product page. If it is not shown, contact us or the manufacturer for details before purchasing.
To start a claim, the customer must contact the manufacturer and follow their process. Keep your proof of purchase and original packaging, and register the product if the manufacturer requires it, as these are often needed for warranty service.
We are happy to help you find the right contact or documentation, but we cannot decide outcomes or intervene in claim resolutions. For guidance, email cs@qualityboatparts.com.
