Overview
This Vimar E27 90° lampholder is a right-angle Edison lamp holder for E27 screw-base lamps, with a glass-reinforced polyester resin body, screw mounting, a 3/8 inch nipple thread, and an overall size of 3.8 x 7 x 5.7 cm. The 90° layout helps when a bulb needs to sit sideways inside a compact light housing or against a bulkhead rather than extending straight out.
It fits straightforward replacement work and simple fixture builds where the socket format is already E27. For marine refits, that makes it useful in cabin lights, utility lights, and other enclosed fittings where clearance and socket angle matter as much as the lamp itself.
Key features
- E27 Edison lampholder format for standard E27 screw-base lamps
- 90° body changes the lamp exit angle where housing depth or side clearance is tight
- Glass-reinforced polyester resin body
- Screw mounting with a 3/8 inch nipple thread
- Approximate size of 3.8 x 7 x 5.7 cm for fixture fit checks
- Available in black or white body color
Variants
This product is offered in two color configurations.
The change between the listed variants is body color. The E27 format, 90° body, screw mounting, 3/8 inch nipple thread, and overall size remain the same across both versions.
- VM02115.B: White body. This keeps the holder less visible in white cabin liners, light housings, and interior fixtures.
- VM02115: Black body. This works where the holder sits against a dark housing, trim, or fixture body.
Compatibility and fit
Check the existing fixture for an E27 lamp holder and confirm there is room for a right-angle body. A 90° holder can solve clearance issues in shallow housings or wall-mounted fittings, but it is not a direct substitute for a straight socket where the bulb needs to project forward.
This suits owners, electricians, and yards replacing a broken holder in a basic light assembly where the visible socket color also matters. Socket type does not define system voltage, so the lamp, wiring, and complete fixture still need to match the electrical setup on board.
Installation and setup
The holder uses screw mounting and a 3/8 inch nipple thread, so it is easiest to fit where the fixture hardware already follows that layout. Before closing the housing, check wire routing, bulb clearance, and lamp direction so the 90° body works with the reflector, shade, or lens.

Quality Boat Parts is a reseller. Many items include a manufacturer’s warranty, and all warranty service is handled directly by the manufacturer. We do not manage or administer warranty claims on behalf of customers.
Warranty terms, coverage, and duration are set by each manufacturer. Issues involving defects, repairs, or replacements must be addressed with the manufacturer’s support team. When available, the warranty period is listed on the product page. If it is not shown, contact us or the manufacturer for details before purchasing.
To start a claim, the customer must contact the manufacturer and follow their process. Keep your proof of purchase and original packaging, and register the product if the manufacturer requires it, as these are often needed for warranty service.
