Overview
The Vimar SICURY Series is a 2P USA adaptor with a P10 outlet for connecting 2-pin P10 plugs to a 125 V AC American socket. It is rated for 15 A at 125 V AC with a maximum load of 1500 W, and it uses a 2P American plug with non-polarized flat blades on one side and a P10 socket for 2-pin plugs with 4 mm pins spaced 19 mm apart on the other.
On board, this adaptor makes sense where the vessel already has 125 V AC outlets in the American format and a portable appliance or accessory ends in a 2-pin P10 plug. The compact body is easy to keep in a spares locker or travel kit, and the SICURY shutter on the socket side adds another layer of protection against accidental contact with live parts.
Key features
- 2P USA adaptor layout with non-polarized flat blades on the plug side
- P10 outlet accepts 2-pin plugs with 4 mm pins and 19 mm centre spacing
- 15 A, 125 V AC rating with a maximum load of 1500 W
- SICURY protection shutter on the socket side
- Compact single-outlet format that works well as a spare or travel adaptor for mixed plug standards on board
Variants
This adaptor is offered in two finish options.
The plug format, outlet type, and electrical rating stay the same across both versions. The difference is the exterior color, which can matter when the adaptor remains visible in a cabin, galley, or utility area.
- VM01351.B - White. The light finish blends in more easily with pale bulkheads, white outlets, and brighter interior spaces.
- VM01351 - Black. The darker finish is less noticeable against dark trim, equipment panels, and utility spaces.
Compatibility and fit
This is a 2-pole adaptor from a USA plug format to a P10 outlet format. It suits equipment built for a 2-pin P10 plug and a 125 V AC supply arrangement that already matches the American plug standard at the outlet.
For marine installations, it is most relevant in interior spaces where portable gear is plugged in and unplugged as needed, such as the cabin, galley, or dockside service setup. It is also useful for owners and technicians who move small appliances or test equipment between shore-side US outlets and equipment fitted with a P10 plug.
Electrical and onboard use
The key numbers to check before use are 125 V AC, 15 A, and 1500 W maximum load. Those limits matter when the adaptor is used with galley appliances, chargers, or other portable AC equipment on board.
This adaptor is for plug compatibility on a 125 V AC circuit. It does not change the outlet standard on the vessel, so the connected device still needs to match the voltage and load available at that point in the boat.
Shipping
We ship worldwide from the United States. Rates are calculated at checkout based on destination and package weight. Some items include free shipping, which will show automatically. Not every product is eligible for international shipping; checkout will confirm eligibility. We do not ship to PO Boxes except through USPS, and not all packages qualify.
Processing and dispatch
Most orders are verified, packed, and handed to the carrier within 1 to 2 business days. Some products may need extra handling time or ship directly from the manufacturer. For certain international orders, inventory transfers between warehouses may add time. If any delay is expected, we will let you know the dispatch date.
Delivery and tracking
Deliveries are handled by trusted carriers such as USPS, UPS, FedEx, and DHL. Estimated arrival times appear at checkout and depend on your location and the service you choose. These are estimates and can be affected by customs or carrier disruptions. A shipping confirmation with a tracking link is emailed when your order ships, and tracking may take up to 24 hours to update. You can also view tracking in your account.
Duties, taxes, and support
International customers are responsible for any customs duties, taxes, and fees charged by the destination country. If these charges are refused and a shipment returns to us, the carrier’s return cost and any re-entry customs fees will be deducted from the refund. If your order is late or you need help, contact cs@qualityboatparts.com and we will assist you.
Quality Boat Parts is a reseller. Many items include a manufacturer’s warranty, and all warranty service is handled directly by the manufacturer. We do not manage or administer warranty claims on behalf of customers.
Warranty terms, coverage, and duration are set by each manufacturer. Issues involving defects, repairs, or replacements must be addressed with the manufacturer’s support team. When available, the warranty period is listed on the product page. If it is not shown, contact us or the manufacturer for details before purchasing.
To start a claim, the customer must contact the manufacturer and follow their process. Keep your proof of purchase and original packaging, and register the product if the manufacturer requires it, as these are often needed for warranty service.
