Overview
The Garmin BlueChart g3 HD HXEU014R is an electronic coastal chart for compatible Garmin chartplotters that covers Italy and the Adriatic Sea, including detailed areas such as Lago Maggiore, Lago d'Iseo, and Lago d'Garda, and extending south to Siracusa (Sicilia) and the Gulf of Arcadia (Greece). It supports depth range shading for up to 10 depth ranges, and depth contours can go down to 30 cm (1 foot) where the underlying chart data supports it.
This cartography is built for on-water navigation and route planning, with chart details that include shoreline and depth information, navigation aids, and port and harbor coverage, plus tides and currents where available. Auto Guidance can calculate a suggested route using the depth and overhead clearance you enter on compatible units.
You can get this region as a preprogrammed microSD/SD card or as a download, depending on how you prefer to load charts on your boat.
Key features
- Coverage spans Italy and the full Adriatic Sea region, extending to Siracusa (Sicilia) and the Gulf of Arcadia (Greece), with detailed coverage for Lago Maggiore, Lago d'Iseo, and Lago d'Garda.
- Chart detail combines Garmin and Navionics data for a single, consistent presentation.
- Depth range shading supports up to 10 depth ranges to make it easier to keep an eye on target depths.
- Shallow water shading can be set to a user-defined depth for a clearer visual warning on compatible chartplotters.
- Up to 30 cm (1 foot) depth contours where available, useful when you are threading channels, working structure, or anchoring in unfamiliar bays.
- Auto Guidance calculates a suggested route based on your chosen depth and overhead clearance on compatible units.
- Download format installs to a microSD/SD card using Garmin Express, and only one chart can be installed per card.
- BlueChart g3 Vision versions add satellite imagery overlays, aerial photography, and 3D perspectives on compatible chartplotters.
Variants
This chart region is offered in multiple configurations so you can match your plotter and your preferred way of loading maps.
Options vary by chart version (BlueChart g3 or BlueChart g3 Vision) and by delivery format (preprogrammed SD card or download installed to a microSD/SD card). The coverage area remains the Italy and Adriatic Sea region.
- 010-C0772-20: BlueChart g3, SD Card. A preprogrammed microSD/SD card that loads by inserting it into the chartplotter card slot.
- 010-D0358-00: BlueChart g3, Download. Installed to a microSD/SD card using Garmin Express before the card goes into the chartplotter.
- 010-C0772-00: BlueChart g3 Vision, SD Card. Adds satellite imagery, aerial photos, and 3D chart views where supported by your chartplotter.
- 010-D0443-00: BlueChart g3 Vision, Download. Installed to a microSD/SD card using Garmin Express, with the Vision extras available on compatible units.
Compatibility and fit
Confirm your chartplotter supports BlueChart g3 or BlueChart g3 Vision before purchasing, since some newer units that use the Garmin Navionics+ mapping format do not read BlueChart g3. For the SD card options, your device needs a microSD/SD card slot. For the download options, you will install the chart to a microSD/SD card on a computer, then move that card to the chartplotter.
Installation and setup
For the preprogrammed card, insert the microSD/SD card into the chartplotter card slot and power the unit on, then select the chart from your map or chart settings. For the download format, install the chart to a microSD/SD card using Garmin Express, then insert that card into the chartplotter. Depth and shallow-water shading settings are adjusted on the chartplotter, so you can tune the display to match your draft and the way you run your boat.
Use on board
This region is a good fit for skippers running coastal hops along Italy or crossing between Italian ports and the eastern Adriatic, as well as crews that want better context when entering marinas, picking anchorages, or working depth transitions for fishing. As with any electronic chart, use it as part of a full navigation routine and keep an eye on local notices, conditions, and safe seamanship.

Quality Boat Parts is a reseller. Many items include a manufacturer’s warranty, and all warranty service is handled directly by the manufacturer. We do not manage or administer warranty claims on behalf of customers.
Warranty terms, coverage, and duration are set by each manufacturer. Issues involving defects, repairs, or replacements must be addressed with the manufacturer’s support team. When available, the warranty period is listed on the product page. If it is not shown, contact us or the manufacturer for details before purchasing.
To start a claim, the customer must contact the manufacturer and follow their process. Keep your proof of purchase and original packaging, and register the product if the manufacturer requires it, as these are often needed for warranty service.
