Overview
The Garmin BlueChart g3 Vision HD VEU451S is a coastal electronic chart for the Ligurian Sea region, covering from Ile du Levant, France to Lido di Ostia, Italy, including Corsica and Sardinia. It also includes detailed coverage of Lago Maggiore, Lago d'Iseo, and Lago di Garda in Northern Italy.
This chart adds mapping layers that help when you are running close to shore, setting up a safe approach into a marina, or looking at bottom structure while fishing. Depth Range Shading supports up to 10 depth ranges, and up to 1-foot contours are available in supported areas.
Key features
- Coverage from Ile du Levant, France to Lido di Ostia, Italy, with Corsica and Sardinia included
- Depth Range Shading with up to 10 depth ranges for quick depth targeting in the covered area
- Shallow Water Shading that can be set to a user-defined depth
- Up to 1-foot contours in supported areas for a tighter read on bottom shape
- FishEye View and MarinerEye View 3D perspectives for above and below the waterline context on compatible plotters
- Satellite imagery overlay and aerial photos for visual reference around many ports and harbors
- Auto Guidance route suggestions based on your selected depth and overhead clearance settings
Variants
This chart is offered in more than one format to match how you load charts on your boat.
The coverage area and chart content stay aligned to VEU451S across the options below. The difference is the delivery format and how you install it to your chartplotter.
- 010-C0795-00: Format microSD/SD. This is a physical chart card that you insert into a compatible chartplotter with a microSD or SD card slot.
- 010-D0465-00: Format Download. This version is loaded to an SD card using Garmin Express on a computer, and download purchases are non-refundable.
Compatibility and fit
Confirm your chartplotter supports BlueChart g3 Vision chart content and has the correct card slot for the format you are buying. If your unit uses microSD only, match that to the card you plan to use. For download format, plan on using an SD card and a computer for loading.
Some mapping layers and 3D views depend on the chartplotter model and software level. Keeping your plotter software current helps the chart draw and load smoothly.
Installation and setup
For the microSD/SD card format, power down the chartplotter, insert the card into the chart slot, then restart the unit and select the chart layer from the chart menu. Keep the card in the plotter while navigating so the unit can access the chart data.
For the download format, use Garmin Express to place the chart on an SD card, then insert that card into the chartplotter. If you move the card between boats or between multiple plotters, re-check that each device supports the same chart features and card format.
Use on board
This coverage is a good match for coastal cruising and passage planning along the French Riviera, the Ligurian coast, and crossings to Corsica and Sardinia. It is also useful for skippers who want an extra visual layer for harbor approaches, anchoring decisions, and depth awareness when operating close to shore.
Navigation notes
Auto Guidance is for planning purposes only and should not replace safe navigation practices. Always cross-check routes and depth information with your instruments, local conditions, and updated navigation resources.

Deliveries are handled by trusted carriers such as USPS, UPS, FedEx, and DHL. Estimated arrival times appear at checkout and depend on your location and the service you choose. These are estimates and can be affected by customs or carrier disruptions. A shipping confirmation with a tracking link is emailed when your order ships, and tracking may take up to 24 hours to update. You can also view tracking in your account.
Duties, taxes, and support
International customers are responsible for any customs duties, taxes, and fees charged by the destination country. If these charges are refused and a shipment returns to us, the carrier’s return cost and any re-entry customs fees will be deducted from the refund. If your order is late or you need help, contact cs@qualityboatparts.com and we will assist you.
Quality Boat Parts is a reseller. Many items include a manufacturer’s warranty, and all warranty service is handled directly by the manufacturer. We do not manage or administer warranty claims on behalf of customers.
Warranty terms, coverage, and duration are set by each manufacturer. Issues involving defects, repairs, or replacements must be addressed with the manufacturer’s support team. When available, the warranty period is listed on the product page. If it is not shown, contact us or the manufacturer for details before purchasing.
To start a claim, the customer must contact the manufacturer and follow their process. Keep your proof of purchase and original packaging, and register the product if the manufacturer requires it, as these are often needed for warranty service.
We are happy to help you find the right contact or documentation, but we cannot decide outcomes or intervene in claim resolutions. For guidance, email cs@qualityboatparts.com.
