Overview

The Garmin 010-01550-10 is a 3.5-inch color fishfinder with built-in GPS packaged as a portable bundle for quick setups on small boats, kayaks, and ice fishing. It uses a dual-beam CHIRP transducer at 77/200 kHz with 200 W RMS (1,600 W peak-to-peak) transmit power, and it is rated for depths up to 1,600 ft in freshwater and 750 ft in saltwater.

Power is 10 to 20 V DC (up to 1 A), so it can run from a typical 12 V system or from the included rechargeable battery. The housing carries an IPX7 water rating for wet decks and spray.

The GPS screen is for saving waypoints, tracking where you have been, and returning to a spot or ramp on a simple waypoint map. It is not a chartplotter with detailed marine charts.

Key features
  • 3.5-inch HVGA color display (480 x 320) with keypad control.
  • Dual-beam CHIRP sonar with included 77/200 kHz transducer; 200 W RMS (1,600 W peak-to-peak) transmit power.
  • Rated maximum depth up to 1,600 ft in freshwater and 750 ft in saltwater.
  • Built-in GPS for waypoints, speed display, track recording, and a waypoint map view (no chart mapping).
  • Sonar history rewind for scrolling back through returns and marking a waypoint after the pass.
  • Portable mounting approach with suction cup transducer mount, foam float, and kayak in-hull transducer mount.
  • IPX7 water rating for typical on-deck exposure.
  • Runs on 10 to 20 V DC (up to 1 A) and includes a rechargeable battery and AC charger for grab-and-go use.
Installation and setup

This bundle is meant for situations where you want to put the system in service fast and pack it away when you are done. The base and handle keep the display and battery together, while the carry bag helps protect the screen and keeps the cabling organized between trips.

For a temporary transducer setup, the suction cup mount works best on a clean, smooth surface and with the transducer kept fully submerged in clean water flow. If the transducer is riding in aerated water or turbulence, bottom and target returns can get inconsistent. The included foam float is handy when you need the transducer to hang in the water below the ice or alongside a dock.

For kayaks, the in-hull transducer mount provides a clean way to keep the transducer protected inside the hull. As with any in-hull installation, sonar performance depends on hull material and how well the transducer is bonded and kept free of trapped air.

Compatibility and fit

The display housing measures about 3.6 x 5.9 x 1.6 inches, which fits well on small consoles and also stores easily in the included bag. The transducer connection is a 4-pin style plug, so any transducer changes should match the same connector type and supported sonar formats.

This is a practical match for anglers who move between boats, fish from a kayak, or want one unit that can go from open water to ice season without committing to a permanent install.

Processing and dispatch
Most orders are verified, packed, and handed to the carrier within 1 to 2 business days. Some products may need extra handling time or ship directly from the manufacturer. For certain international orders, inventory transfers between warehouses may add time. If any delay is expected, we will let you know the dispatch date.

Delivery and tracking
Deliveries are handled by trusted carriers such as USPS, UPS, FedEx, and DHL. Estimated arrival times appear at checkout and depend on your location and the service you choose. These are estimates and can be affected by customs or carrier disruptions. A shipping confirmation with a tracking link is emailed when your order ships, and tracking may take up to 24 hours to update. You can also view tracking in your account.

Duties, taxes, and support
International customers are responsible for any customs duties, taxes, and fees charged by the destination country. If these charges are refused and a shipment returns to us, the carrier’s return cost and any re-entry customs fees will be deducted from the refund. If your order is late or you need help, contact cs@qualityboatparts.com and we will assist you.

Quality Boat Parts is a reseller. Many items include a manufacturer’s warranty, and all warranty service is handled directly by the manufacturer. We do not manage or administer warranty claims on behalf of customers.

Warranty terms, coverage, and duration are set by each manufacturer. Issues involving defects, repairs, or replacements must be addressed with the manufacturer’s support team. When available, the warranty period is listed on the product page. If it is not shown, contact us or the manufacturer for details before purchasing.

To start a claim, the customer must contact the manufacturer and follow their process. Keep your proof of purchase and original packaging, and register the product if the manufacturer requires it, as these are often needed for warranty service.

We are happy to help you find the right contact or documentation, but we cannot decide outcomes or intervene in claim resolutions. For guidance, email cs@qualityboatparts.com.
