Overview
The Garmin ECHOMAP UHD2 is a protective cover that fits over compatible ECHOMAP UHD2 cv chartplotters when the display is not in use. It is offered in 5" and 7" sizes so the cover matches the front face of the unit instead of sitting loosely like a generic dust cover.
On a boat, this is the kind of accessory that earns its keep at the dock and on the trailer. It helps keep salt spray, sun exposure, dock dust, and incidental scuffs off the display area between trips. These covers are specific to ECHOMAP UHD2 cv models and are not interchangeable with ECHOMAP Plus, ECHOMAP UHD, or ECHOMAP UHD2 sv displays.
Key features
- Hard protective cover sized for ECHOMAP UHD2 cv displays (5" or 7").
- Helps shield the front of the chartplotter during storage, trailering, and dockside downtime.
- Made for the ECHOMAP UHD2 cv front profile, which avoids the loose fit common with universal covers.
- Series-specific fit helps prevent mix-ups with ECHOMAP Plus, ECHOMAP UHD, and ECHOMAP UHD2 sv models.
- Physical protection only, with no impact on power connections, networking, or transducer wiring.
Variants
This protective cover is available in two size-specific configurations for ECHOMAP UHD2 cv chartplotters.
Size is the only change between variants, and each one matches a specific set of chartplotter model families.
- 010-13116-01, Size 7". Fits ECHOMAP UHD2 72cv, 73cv, 74cv, and 75cv chartplotters.
- 010-13116-00, Size 5". Fits ECHOMAP UHD2 52cv, 53cv, 54cv, and 55cv chartplotters.
Compatibility and fit
Match the cover to the exact model family printed on your unit, not just the screen size. The 7" cover aligns with ECHOMAP UHD2 72cv, 73cv, 74cv, and 75cv units, while the 5" cover aligns with ECHOMAP UHD2 52cv, 53cv, 54cv, and 55cv units.
If your chartplotter is from a different generation (ECHOMAP Plus or ECHOMAP UHD) or a different UHD2 type (sv), the outer shape and bezel details can differ, and the fit will not be the same.
Use on board
This cover makes sense for open helms, center consoles, and any installation where the display is exposed between runs. It is also useful for boats that see frequent trailering, where the helm takes vibration and dust on the road.
It is a good match for boaters who keep their electronics installed year-round and want a quick way to keep the display face protected while the boat sits.
Care and storage
Rinse off salt residue with fresh water when needed and let it dry before storing. Keeping the cover clean helps it sit flat against the chartplotter face and avoids rubbing grit across the screen area.
Shipping
We ship worldwide from the United States. Rates are calculated at checkout based on destination and package weight. Some items include free shipping, which will show automatically. Not every product is eligible for international shipping; checkout will confirm eligibility. We do not ship to PO Boxes except through USPS, and not all packages qualify.
Processing and dispatch
Most orders are verified, packed, and handed to the carrier within 1 to 2 business days. Some products may need extra handling time or ship directly from the manufacturer. For certain international orders, inventory transfers between warehouses may add time. If any delay is expected, we will let you know the dispatch date.
Delivery and tracking
Deliveries are handled by trusted carriers such as USPS, UPS, FedEx, and DHL. Estimated arrival times appear at checkout and depend on your location and the service you choose. These are estimates and can be affected by customs or carrier disruptions. A shipping confirmation with a tracking link is emailed when your order ships, and tracking may take up to 24 hours to update. You can also view tracking in your account.
Duties, taxes, and support
International customers are responsible for any customs duties, taxes, and fees charged by the destination country. If these charges are refused and a shipment returns to us, the carrier’s return cost and any re-entry customs fees will be deducted from the refund. If your order is late or you need help, contact cs@qualityboatparts.com and we will assist you.
Quality Boat Parts is a reseller. Many items include a manufacturer’s warranty, and all warranty service is handled directly by the manufacturer. We do not manage or administer warranty claims on behalf of customers.
Warranty terms, coverage, and duration are set by each manufacturer. Issues involving defects, repairs, or replacements must be addressed with the manufacturer’s support team. When available, the warranty period is listed on the product page. If it is not shown, contact us or the manufacturer for details before purchasing.
To start a claim, the customer must contact the manufacturer and follow their process. Keep your proof of purchase and original packaging, and register the product if the manufacturer requires it, as these are often needed for warranty service.
We are happy to help you find the right contact or documentation, but we cannot decide outcomes or intervene in claim resolutions. For guidance, email cs@qualityboatparts.com.
