Overview
The Garmin 010-11010-03 is a 1 kW bronze thru-hull transducer with a Garmin 6-pin connector, built around a 0° tilted element for hull deadrise from 0° to 7°.
It runs traditional dual-frequency sonar at 50/200 kHz, with a wide 22° beam at 50 kHz and a tighter 6° beam at 200 kHz. Depth performance is rated to 549 m (1800 ft) at 50 kHz and 244 m (800 ft) at 200 kHz, and it also includes fast-response water temperature sensing for compatible displays.
The housing sits close to the hull and extends less than 6.35 mm (0.25 in) below it, which helps on boats that get trailered or sit on lifts where protrusions are more likely to get bumped.

Compatibility and fit
This is a thru-hull style transducer, so fit starts with the hull deadrise at the mounting location. The 0° version is meant for near-flat sections of hull where the deadrise at the install point measures 0° to 7°, keeping the sonar beam aimed close to straight down without adding a fairing block.
Because the housing is bronze, plan for normal below-waterline corrosion practices for your boat, including bonding and appropriate anodes where required by your setup. If your hull is aluminum or steel, confirm the housing material matches your corrosion plan before committing to a thru-hull hole.
Installation and setup
Pick a spot that stays in clean, aeration-free water underway. Avoid areas behind steps, strakes, intakes, and prop wash, since bubbles and turbulence can cause dropouts at speed. Many powerboats place a thru-hull close to the centerline and forward of the engines, while sailboats typically avoid areas where keel or hull turbulence forms.
You will need interior access to tighten the mounting hardware. Use a below-waterline marine sealant and allow full cure time before launching, then verify the reading at the dock and again at cruising speed.
Electrical and system integration
The attached Garmin 6-pin connector plugs into compatible Garmin sonar ports. If your display, sounder module, or wiring harness uses a different connector style, use the correct adapter so the 50/200 kHz sonar elements and temperature lead map correctly to the unit.
