Overview
The Perko 0939DP1STS is a flush-mount stern light for sail or power vessels under 20 meters (65.6 ft.) that run a nominal 12V system. It is rated for 2 nautical miles of visibility, uses an incandescent 10W bulb, and has a polished stainless steel top with a black polymer base.
This model is for replacement use only and suits installations where the light mounts on a vertical surface at the stern. Its body measures 3-3/8 in. high, 5-3/16 in. wide, and 1-1/2 in. deep, which helps when you are matching an existing footprint on a transom or aft bulkhead.
Key features
- Flush-mount stern light for sail and power boats under 20 meters (65.6 ft.)
- 2 nautical mile visibility
- Nominal 12V setup with bulb included
- 10W draw at 0.74 amps
- Polished stainless steel top with black polymer base
- Mounting layout uses #8 screws and a 2-1/8 in. hole for the socket holder
- Built for replacement use only
Installation and fit
This light is meant to mount on a vertical surface that is perpendicular to the boat centerline and faces astern. That makes it a practical replacement for many existing stern lights on transoms and aft bulkheads where a flush installation is already in place.
Before ordering, it is worth checking the cutout and screw pattern against the current installation. The mounting template calls for two screw holes and a 2-1/8 in. hole for the socket holder, so it is easier to confirm fit before drilling or reworking the mounting area.
Electrical and service notes
This is a nominal 12V incandescent light and it is supplied with the correct bulb for that system. Replacement bulb service uses Perko 0070DP0CLR, a 12V 10W bulb.
It is a good match for owners replacing an older stern light on a cruising boat, fishing boat, or sailboat that still uses a conventional 12V navigation-light circuit and needs a stern light sized for the under-20-meter category.

Quality Boat Parts is a reseller. Many items include a manufacturer’s warranty, and all warranty service is handled directly by the manufacturer. We do not manage or administer warranty claims on behalf of customers.
Warranty terms, coverage, and duration are set by each manufacturer. Issues involving defects, repairs, or replacements must be addressed with the manufacturer’s support team. When available, the warranty period is listed on the product page. If it is not shown, contact us or the manufacturer for details before purchasing.
To start a claim, the customer must contact the manufacturer and follow their process. Keep your proof of purchase and original packaging, and register the product if the manufacturer requires it, as these are often needed for warranty service.
We are happy to help you find the right contact or documentation, but we cannot decide outcomes or intervene in claim resolutions. For guidance, email cs@qualityboatparts.com.
