Overview

The Raymarine E70635-03-NAG is a 7 inch chartplotter and fishfinder with built-in RealVision 3D sonar, an RV-100 transom transducer, and North America Navionics chart coverage. It runs on 12 V DC systems with an 8 to 16 V operating range, uses a 7 inch IPS touchscreen with 1024 x 600 resolution, and has a built-in 10 Hz GPS/GNSS receiver for fast position updates at the helm.

This package works well on boats that need one screen for charting, sonar, and network data without moving up to a larger display. The sonar section includes 600 W CHIRP and supports CHIRP conical sonar to 900 ft, DownVision to 600 ft, SideVision to 300 ft, and RealVision 3D to 300 ft with the included RV-100 transducer.

The housing is rated IPX6 and IPX7, so it can be installed at an exposed helm, and the Axiom+ platform leaves room to grow through RayNet, NMEA 2000, Wi-Fi, and Bluetooth. It is a strong fit for inshore and coastal boats where helm space is limited but the owner still wants charting, scanning sonar, and room to network other electronics later.

Key features
  • 7 inch IPS multitouch display with 1024 x 600 resolution and wide 85 degree viewing angles for a clear view from different helm positions
  • Built-in RealVision 3D and 600 W sonar module with CHIRP conical sonar, DownVision, SideVision, and RealVision 3D in one display
  • RV-100 transom transducer included, so the package is set up for RealVision sonar without adding a separate transducer
  • Internal 10 Hz GPS/GNSS receiver with GPS, GLONASS, and BeiDou support for quick position updates and steady tracking underway
  • RayNet, NMEA 2000, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, and Bluetooth 4.0 for linking radar, autopilot, cameras, mobile devices, and network data
  • IPX6 and IPX7 water protection with an operating temperature range from -25 C to +55 C for use at open helms and through changing weather
  • 16 GB solid state storage with 14 GB usable for user data, plus a microSDXC card slot for charts and data storage
Installation and setup

This unit can be bracket mounted or installed in a surface or flush mount cutout. The display face measures 201.1 x 133 mm in a surface or flush mount, while trunnion mounting needs more room at 250.4 x 162.5 mm. Depth with cables is 218 mm, so it is worth checking dash clearance before cutting the panel.

The included power and NMEA 2000 cable helps simplify a first installation, and the included DeviceNet to SeaTalkng adaptor cable is useful on boats that already have a SeaTalkng backbone. Because the RV-100 is a transom mount transducer, this package is especially relevant for outboard and sterndrive boats where transom mounting is the normal transducer setup.

Compatibility and fit

The Axiom+ 7RV fits cleanly into a 12 V helm and can join a larger electronics system through RayNet and NMEA 2000. It supports charting with Navionics, LightHouse Charts, and C-MAP, and it can also work with older NMEA 0183 gear through an optional converter. For buyers comparing compact MFDs, the main draw here is that chartplotting, high-detail sonar, and network expansion all sit in one 7 inch display.

This is a sensible match for center consoles, bay boats, small walkarounds, and similar boats where the helm has limited panel space but still needs full navigation and fishfinding capability. It also suits owners replacing an older combo unit who want better sonar detail and faster response without rebuilding the whole dash.

Quality Boat Parts is a reseller. Many items include a manufacturer’s warranty, and all warranty service is handled directly by the manufacturer. We do not manage or administer warranty claims on behalf of customers.

Warranty terms, coverage, and duration are set by each manufacturer. Issues involving defects, repairs, or replacements must be addressed with the manufacturer’s support team. When available, the warranty period is listed on the product page. If it is not shown, contact us or the manufacturer for details before purchasing.

To start a claim, the customer must contact the manufacturer and follow their process. Keep your proof of purchase and original packaging, and register the product if the manufacturer requires it, as these are often needed for warranty service.

We are happy to help you find the right contact or documentation, but we cannot decide outcomes or intervene in claim resolutions. For guidance, email cs@qualityboatparts.com.
