Overview
The TACO Marine RK-0001SB is a standard outrigger rigging kit for TACO Grand Slam 170 outrigger poles and outrigger setups up to 22'. It gives anglers the main rigging hardware needed to get a pair of poles ready for offshore trolling without piecing together small parts one at a time.
The kit centers around 100' of 1/8" black Dacron rigging cord, paired with release clips, line stops, swivels, crimps, and mounting hardware for a clean, functional outrigger setup. The included mesh bag also makes it easier to keep the rigging parts together on board between installation, service, and storage.

Installation and use
This kit is meant for anglers adding or refreshing outrigger rigging for offshore trolling, where controlled line placement helps spread baits away from the wake. It is a practical match for center consoles, sportfish boats, and other fishing boats already using compatible TACO outrigger poles.
During installation, check the pole length, outrigger mount layout, and preferred trolling spread before cutting or crimping the rigging cord. Dry-fitting the hardware first helps confirm line path, clip position, and working clearance around the T-top, hardtop, or tower.
Care on board
Rinse the rigging with fresh water after saltwater use, especially around clips, swivels, and crimped areas. Inspect the cord and connection points regularly, since outrigger rigging sees repeated movement, sun exposure, spray, and vibration during runs offshore.

Quality Boat Parts is a reseller. Many items include a manufacturer’s warranty, and all warranty service is handled directly by the manufacturer. We do not manage or administer warranty claims on behalf of customers.
Warranty terms, coverage, and duration are set by each manufacturer. Issues involving defects, repairs, or replacements must be addressed with the manufacturer’s support team. When available, the warranty period is listed on the product page. If it is not shown, contact us or the manufacturer for details before purchasing.
To start a claim, the customer must contact the manufacturer and follow their process. Keep your proof of purchase and original packaging, and register the product if the manufacturer requires it, as these are often needed for warranty service.
