Overview
The Garmin BlueChart g3 Vision HD is an electronic chart for the Mediterranean Southeast region, available as BlueChart g3 Vision (VEU016R) or BlueChart g3 (HXEU016R) in either SD Card or download format.
It includes routing help with Auto Guidance using your entered depth and overhead clearance, plus Depth Range Shading for up to 10 ranges, Shallow Water Shading at a user-set depth, and chart detail that can include up to 1-foot contours where available. The g3 Vision version adds extra layers such as high-resolution relief shading, satellite imagery, 3D views (MarinerEye and FishEye), and aerial photos for many ports and harbors.
Key features
- Mediterranean Southeast coverage from Gulluk, Turkey east to include Cyprus, Syria, Lebanon and Israel, then west to Misratah, Libya
- Two chart versions: BlueChart g3 (HXEU016R) and BlueChart g3 Vision (VEU016R), with Vision adding relief shading, satellite imagery, and 3D viewing layers
- Auto Guidance route suggestions based on your preferred depth and overhead clearance
- Depth Range Shading for up to 10 depth ranges, plus Shallow Water Shading at a user-defined depth
- Up to 1-foot contours to help show bottom structure detail where supported by the chart data
- Delivery options: preprogrammed microSD/SD card or download installed to a microSD/SD card using Garmin Express
- Works with compatible Garmin chartplotters; charts can be viewed across a Garmin marine network when the mapping card is inserted in a chartplotter on that network
Variants
This chart is offered in multiple configurations to match the chart feature set you want and the way you prefer to receive it.
The two differences between variants are the BlueChart version (g3 Vision vs g3) and the format (SD Card vs Download). Coverage remains focused on the Mediterranean Southeast region.

Coverage area
Coverage spans the southeast Mediterranean from Gulluk, Turkey east to include Cyprus, Syria, Lebanon, and Israel, then west to Misratah, Libya. It is built for coastal navigation in this region, including approaches, ports, and harbors where chart data is available.
Compatibility and system notes
These charts are intended for compatible Garmin chartplotters and Garmin marine systems that support BlueChart g3 or BlueChart g3 Vision and read maps from a microSD or SD card. Features shown on-screen depend on the chartplotter model and software, so matching the chart version to what your display supports matters.
Installation and setup
For SD Card versions, insert the card into the chartplotter and select the chart in the mapping menu. For download versions, use Garmin Express to write the chart to a microSD/SD card; only one chart can be installed per card. If your helm has multiple Garmin displays on a Garmin marine network, keeping the mapping card in one chartplotter allows other compatible plotters on the network to view the chart.
Use on board
This chart fits skippers running coastal routes through the eastern Mediterranean who want clearer depth awareness, route suggestions that respect their draft and clearances, and better visual context around ports when using the Vision layers. As with any electronic cartography, confirm routes with local knowledge and keep a proper watch underway.
Shipping
We ship worldwide from the United States. Rates are calculated at checkout based on destination and package weight. Some items include free shipping, which will show automatically. Not every product is eligible for international shipping; checkout will confirm eligibility. We do not ship to PO Boxes except through USPS, and not all packages qualify.
Processing and dispatch
Most orders are verified, packed, and handed to the carrier within 1 to 2 business days. Some products may need extra handling time or ship directly from the manufacturer. For certain international orders, inventory transfers between warehouses may add time. If any delay is expected, we will let you know the dispatch date.
Delivery and tracking
Deliveries are handled by trusted carriers such as USPS, UPS, FedEx, and DHL. Estimated arrival times appear at checkout and depend on your location and the service you choose. These are estimates and can be affected by customs or carrier disruptions. A shipping confirmation with a tracking link is emailed when your order ships, and tracking may take up to 24 hours to update. You can also view tracking in your account.
Duties, taxes, and support
International customers are responsible for any customs duties, taxes, and fees charged by the destination country. If these charges are refused and a shipment returns to us, the carrier’s return cost and any re-entry customs fees will be deducted from the refund. If your order is late or you need help, contact cs@qualityboatparts.com and we will assist you.
Quality Boat Parts is a reseller. Many items include a manufacturer’s warranty, and all warranty service is handled directly by the manufacturer. We do not manage or administer warranty claims on behalf of customers.
Warranty terms, coverage, and duration are set by each manufacturer. Issues involving defects, repairs, or replacements must be addressed with the manufacturer’s support team. When available, the warranty period is listed on the product page. If it is not shown, contact us or the manufacturer for details before purchasing.
To start a claim, the customer must contact the manufacturer and follow their process. Keep your proof of purchase and original packaging, and register the product if the manufacturer requires it, as these are often needed for warranty service.
We are happy to help you find the right contact or documentation, but we cannot decide outcomes or intervene in claim resolutions. For guidance, email cs@qualityboatparts.com.
