Overview
The Garmin NSEU043R is an electronic chart coverage region for compatible Garmin chartplotters, focused on Iceland and the North Atlantic route toward Orkney and northern Britain. It includes features like depth range shading with up to 10 depth ranges, shallow-water shading for a user-set depth, and chart detail that can display up to 1-foot contours where available.
Coverage includes Iceland, the Faroe Islands, the Shetland Islands, the Orkney Islands, the Isle of Lewis, and the northern tip of Britain, with key areas around ports such as Reykjavik and Akureyri, plus Torshavn, Lerwick, Stromness, Kirkwall, and Thurso.
This region is available as Garmin Navionics+ or Garmin Navionics Vision+, and each version comes either on microSD/SD media or as a download. A one-year subscription is included for daily chart updates and downloadable content through ActiveCaptain and Garmin Express.

Variants
This product is offered in multiple configurations, based on chart version and delivery format.
Navionics+ focuses on the core chart layers and navigation features for the region, while Navionics Vision+ adds premium visual layers such as relief shading and imagery where available. The microSD/SD options are preloaded media, and the download options are installed via Garmin Express to a micro/SD card for the registered chartplotter.
- 010-C1246-20: Garmin Navionics+ on microSD/SD. This is the plug-in media option, with updates and additional downloads available after subscription activation.
- 010-D1848-20: Garmin Navionics+ as a download. This installs with Garmin Express to a micro/SD card used in the registered chartplotter, and the chart stays on that card.
- 010-C1246-00: Garmin Navionics Vision+ on microSD/SD. This adds premium layers beyond Navionics+, including enhanced visual content that can be downloaded during the subscription period where available.
- 010-D1848-00: Garmin Navionics Vision+ as a download. This installs with Garmin Express to a micro/SD card, with premium layers available to download during the active subscription period where available.
Compatibility and setup
These charts are intended for compatible Garmin chartplotters that support the Garmin Navionics+ and Garmin Navionics Vision+ formats. For microSD/SD variants, the chart media is inserted into the chartplotter and remains in place for normal use. For download variants, Garmin Express installs the chart to a micro/SD card for use in a registered chartplotter, and a single card is used for a single chart region.
Updates and navigation notes
The included one-year subscription covers daily chart updates and access to downloadable content during the subscription period. Charts and features you download during that time remain available on the card after the subscription ends, but additional downloads stop unless the subscription is renewed. Auto Guidance+ is a planning aid and does not replace on-water judgment, local knowledge, or safe navigation practices.
Use cases on board
This chart region is a solid fit for skippers running coastal legs around Iceland and northern Scotland, crews transiting between island groups in the North Atlantic, and anglers who want depth shading and contour detail for working structure. It also makes sense for charter and delivery work where you want a single region that covers the common approaches and ports in this area.
Shipping
We ship worldwide from the United States. Rates are calculated at checkout based on destination and package weight. Some items include free shipping, which will show automatically. Not every product is eligible for international shipping; checkout will confirm eligibility. We do not ship to PO Boxes except through USPS, and not all packages qualify.
Processing and dispatch
Most orders are verified, packed, and handed to the carrier within 1 to 2 business days. Some products may need extra handling time or ship directly from the manufacturer. For certain international orders, inventory transfers between warehouses may add time. If any delay is expected, we will let you know the dispatch date.
Delivery and tracking
Deliveries are handled by trusted carriers such as USPS, UPS, FedEx, and DHL. Estimated arrival times appear at checkout and depend on your location and the service you choose. These are estimates and can be affected by customs or carrier disruptions. A shipping confirmation with a tracking link is emailed when your order ships, and tracking may take up to 24 hours to update. You can also view tracking in your account.
Duties, taxes, and support
International customers are responsible for any customs duties, taxes, and fees charged by the destination country. If these charges are refused and a shipment returns to us, the carrier’s return cost and any re-entry customs fees will be deducted from the refund. If your order is late or you need help, contact cs@qualityboatparts.com and we will assist you.
Quality Boat Parts is a reseller. Many items include a manufacturer’s warranty, and all warranty service is handled directly by the manufacturer. We do not manage or administer warranty claims on behalf of customers.
Warranty terms, coverage, and duration are set by each manufacturer. Issues involving defects, repairs, or replacements must be addressed with the manufacturer’s support team. When available, the warranty period is listed on the product page. If it is not shown, contact us or the manufacturer for details before purchasing.
To start a claim, the customer must contact the manufacturer and follow their process. Keep your proof of purchase and original packaging, and register the product if the manufacturer requires it, as these are often needed for warranty service.
