Overview

The Raymarine E70643 is an HV-100.02 HyperVision transom mount transducer for Raymarine sonar systems that use HyperVision imaging. It combines RealVision 3D, DownVision, SideVision and conical High CHIRP sonar in one plastic transducer housing, so a boat can get structure imaging, fish targeting, depth and water temperature from a single transom-mounted sensor.

This model uses 1.2 MHz HyperVision CHIRP, 350 kHz CHIRP and 200 kHz High CHIRP frequencies. Rated depth capabilities include 300 ft for 3D sonar, 600 ft for DownVision, 300 ft to port and starboard with SideVision, and 900 ft with conical CHIRP sonar.

The fitted cable is 6 m, or 19.69 ft, which gives practical routing length for many trailer boats, center consoles and small cruising boats. The housing measures 224.99 mm long, 112.69 mm high and 76.00 mm wide, helping buyers confirm transom space before drilling or routing cable through the hull or bulkhead.

Key features
  • Transom mount HV-100.02 HyperVision transducer for boats using compatible Raymarine HyperVision sonar displays.
  • Supports RealVision 3D, DownVision, SideVision and conical High CHIRP sonar from a single housing.
  • 1.2 MHz HyperVision CHIRP gives high-detail imaging for shallow structure and fish-finding work.
  • 350 kHz CHIRP supports standard imaging range, while 200 kHz High CHIRP supports bottom tracking down to 900 ft.
  • Records depth and water temperature for sonar, navigation and fishing use.
  • Plastic housing is suitable for fiberglass and metal hull applications.
  • Works with transom deadrise angles from 0° to 90° for a wide range of stern shapes.
  • 6 m fitted cable helps with clean routing from the transom to the display location.
  • Waterproof ratings include IPx6 for surfaces exterior to the hull, plus IPx7 and IPx8 protection.
  • Conforms to EN 60945:2002, IEC 28846:1993 and EMC Directive 2014/30/EU requirements.
Installation and setup

This transducer mounts on the transom, where it can stay in clean water flow while the boat is underway. Correct placement matters: keep it away from turbulence from chines, steps, strakes, thru-hull fittings and prop wash, since aerated water can reduce sonar returns at speed.

The adjustable bracket supports deadrise angles from 0° to 90°. During installation, the transducer should be aligned so the sonar face has a clear view below the hull and the cable can be routed without tight bends, chafe points or areas exposed to unnecessary impact.

Compatibility and fit

The HV-100.02 is built for Raymarine HyperVision sonar use and is a practical match for fishing boats, tenders, trailerable cruisers and other vessels where a transom-mounted sensor is preferred over a thru-hull installation. It is suitable for fiberglass and metal hulls, and the 6 m cable length should be checked against the actual route from the stern to the display before installation.

Because this is a sonar transducer rather than a stand-alone display, it must be connected to a compatible Raymarine fishfinder or multifunction display that can use its HyperVision, DownVision, SideVision, RealVision 3D and CHIRP sonar channels.

Sonar performance on board

HyperVision imaging at 1.2 MHz is most useful when looking closely at shallow structure, edges, wrecks, vegetation and fish-holding areas around the boat. The 350 kHz and 200 kHz channels add range for general bottom reading, side coverage and deeper-water CHIRP use.

For anglers, the combination of side, down, 3D and conical sonar helps compare what is directly under the boat with what is off to either side. For cruising or general navigation, the depth and temperature readings add useful awareness when moving through unfamiliar water, channels or anchorages.

Materials and marine environment

The transducer body is plastic and the listed installation hardware includes A4 stainless steel fasteners, with SUS316 escutcheon plate fixings for cable routing points. These details matter on boats that see spray, washdowns, vibration and repeated exposure to salt air.

Operating temperature is rated from -2° C to +55° C, with storage temperature from -20° C to +70° C. After use in saltwater, a freshwater rinse around the transducer face and bracket helps reduce buildup that can interfere with clean sonar returns.

Shipping
We ship worldwide from the United States. Rates are calculated at checkout based on destination and package weight. Some items include free shipping, which will show automatically. Not every product is eligible for international shipping; checkout will confirm eligibility. We do not ship to PO Boxes except through USPS, and not all packages qualify.

Processing and dispatch
Most orders are verified, packed, and handed to the carrier within 1 to 2 business days. Some products may need extra handling time or ship directly from the manufacturer. For certain international orders, inventory transfers between warehouses may add time. If any delay is expected, we will let you know the dispatch date.

Delivery and tracking
Deliveries are handled by trusted carriers such as USPS, UPS, FedEx, and DHL. Estimated arrival times appear at checkout and depend on your location and the service you choose. These are estimates and can be affected by customs or carrier disruptions. A shipping confirmation with a tracking link is emailed when your order ships, and tracking may take up to 24 hours to update. You can also view tracking in your account.

Duties, taxes, and support
International customers are responsible for any customs duties, taxes, and fees charged by the destination country. If these charges are refused and a shipment returns to us, the carrier’s return cost and any re-entry customs fees will be deducted from the refund. If your order is late or you need help, contact cs@qualityboatparts.com and we will assist you.

Quality Boat Parts is a reseller. Many items include a manufacturer’s warranty, and all warranty service is handled directly by the manufacturer. We do not manage or administer warranty claims on behalf of customers.

Warranty terms, coverage, and duration are set by each manufacturer. Issues involving defects, repairs, or replacements must be addressed with the manufacturer’s support team. When available, the warranty period is listed on the product page. If it is not shown, contact us or the manufacturer for details before purchasing.

To start a claim, the customer must contact the manufacturer and follow their process. Keep your proof of purchase and original packaging, and register the product if the manufacturer requires it, as these are often needed for warranty service.

We are happy to help you find the right contact or documentation, but we cannot decide outcomes or intervene in claim resolutions. For guidance, email cs@qualityboatparts.com.
