Overview
The Garmin BlueChart g3 HD - HXEU018R is an electronic chart for compatible Garmin chartplotters covering the Netherlands and the surrounding Benelux offshore and inland waters. Coverage runs from Spiekeroog (Germany) to Calais (France), including the full coasts of the Netherlands and Belgium, plus Great Britain coverage from Whitstable to Folkestone. It is available as a pre-programmed microSD/SD card or as a download you install to a micro/SD card.
On a supported chartplotter, you get Auto Guidance route suggestions along with tools like Depth Range Shading (up to 10 depth ranges), Shallow Water Shading, and detailed bottom contours down to 1 foot. Feature availability depends on the chartplotter model and software, so it is worth confirming that your unit supports BlueChart g3 before ordering.
Key features
- HXEU018R coverage for the Netherlands and Belgium coasts, with adjacent stretches from Spiekeroog (Germany) to Calais (France) and Whitstable to Folkestone (Great Britain)
- Two delivery formats: pre-programmed microSD/SD card, or download installed to a micro/SD card
- Auto Guidance routing using your depth and overhead clearance settings (on compatible chartplotters)
- Depth Range Shading for up to 10 depth ranges plus Shallow Water Shading to highlight shallow areas at your chosen depth
- Up to 1-foot contours for clearer bottom detail when navigating channels, marinas, and fishing structure
- Download installs through Garmin Express to a micro/SD card for a registered chartplotter, with one chart per card
Variants
This chart area is offered in two chart tiers (BlueChart g3 and BlueChart g3 Vision) and in two delivery formats (card or download).
BlueChart g3 Vision adds extra visual layers such as 3D views and imagery where available, while the base BlueChart g3 focuses on the standard chart presentation. The part numbers below reflect the chart tier and delivery format.
- 010-C0775-20: BlueChart g3, SD card. The chart data is on a pre-programmed microSD/SD card you insert into the chartplotter card slot for use on board.
- 010-D0361-00: BlueChart g3, download. The chart is installed to a micro/SD card using Garmin Express, then that card is used in the registered chartplotter.
- 010-C0775-00: BlueChart g3 Vision, SD card. This version adds premium views such as MarinerEye and FishEye 3D plus imagery layers where they are supported and available for the region.
- 010-D0446-00: BlueChart g3 Vision, download. The same Vision chart tier delivered as a download and installed to a micro/SD card through Garmin Express.
Compatibility and fit
You need a Garmin chartplotter that supports BlueChart g3 mapping and has a microSD/SD card slot. Chartplotters that use the newer Garmin Navionics+ mapping format do not accept BlueChart g3 cards or downloads. On non-chartplotter devices like handhelds and watches, the chart will show basic detail and advanced features such as Auto Guidance, shading layers, and 1-foot contours may not be available.
Installation and setup
For the card version, power down the plotter, insert the microSD/SD card, restart, then select the chart layer as needed. Keep the card in the slot while you are using the charts.
For the download version, install the chart to a micro/SD card using Garmin Express on a computer, then move that card to the chartplotter. Use a dedicated card for this chart, since only one chart can be installed on a single micro/SD card.
On-board use
This coverage is a good match for skippers running Garmin electronics in Dutch and Belgian waters, as well as boats making coastal passages across the southern North Sea. If you rely on depth management in shoal areas or fish structure along channels, the contour detail and shading tools help when you are planning routes and marks.
Shipping
We ship worldwide from the United States. Rates are calculated at checkout based on destination and package weight. Some items include free shipping, which will show automatically. Not every product is eligible for international shipping; checkout will confirm eligibility. We do not ship to PO Boxes except through USPS, and not all packages qualify.
Processing and dispatch
Most orders are verified, packed, and handed to the carrier within 1 to 2 business days. Some products may need extra handling time or ship directly from the manufacturer. For certain international orders, inventory transfers between warehouses may add time. If any delay is expected, we will let you know the dispatch date.
Delivery and tracking
Deliveries are handled by trusted carriers such as USPS, UPS, FedEx, and DHL. Estimated arrival times appear at checkout and depend on your location and the service you choose. These are estimates and can be affected by customs or carrier disruptions. A shipping confirmation with a tracking link is emailed when your order ships, and tracking may take up to 24 hours to update. You can also view tracking in your account.
Duties, taxes, and support
International customers are responsible for any customs duties, taxes, and fees charged by the destination country. If these charges are refused and a shipment returns to us, the carrier’s return cost and any re-entry customs fees will be deducted from the refund. If your order is late or you need help, contact cs@qualityboatparts.com and we will assist you.
Quality Boat Parts is a reseller. Many items include a manufacturer’s warranty, and all warranty service is handled directly by the manufacturer. We do not manage or administer warranty claims on behalf of customers.
Warranty terms, coverage, and duration are set by each manufacturer. Issues involving defects, repairs, or replacements must be addressed with the manufacturer’s support team. When available, the warranty period is listed on the product page. If it is not shown, contact us or the manufacturer for details before purchasing.
To start a claim, the customer must contact the manufacturer and follow their process. Keep your proof of purchase and original packaging, and register the product if the manufacturer requires it, as these are often needed for warranty service.
We are happy to help you find the right contact or documentation, but we cannot decide outcomes or intervene in claim resolutions. For guidance, email cs@qualityboatparts.com.
