Overview
The Vimar Arké 19642 is a 2-module Classic cover plate that finishes a Vimar Arké switch or outlet position with a clean front face.
It matches Arké 2-module mounting frames with a 71 mm distance between centres, so it fits the common 2M layout used when devices are installed in a line on a panel or bulkhead. The visible material and surface finish depend on the configuration selected, with options that cover metal and aluminium looks, technopolymer colors, and solid wood.
Key features
- 2-module (2M) cover plate format for the Vimar Arké wiring device system
- Pairs with Arké 2-module mounting frames built on a 71 mm centre distance
- Works with horizontal or vertical frame layouts, depending on how the support is installed
- Wide finish range to match onboard joinery and hardware, including metal and aluminium surfaces, technopolymer colors, and wood options
- Front plate covers the support and edges around the devices for a consistent look across multi-gang installations
Variants
This cover plate is offered in many finishes. The visible differences are the surface color and texture, and in some cases the material, with options spanning metal and aluminium looks, technopolymer colors (including Reflex shades), and natural wood finishes.
Across the range, the format remains a 2-module Classic cover plate for the Arké system. Some technopolymer variants are also available in antibacterial material, which is useful where switches are touched often.
Installation and fit
Fit is determined by the Arké support frame and the mechanisms behind the plate. Install the 2-module mounting frame and the selected Arké devices first, then fit the cover plate to finish the opening.
For typical box standards used on boats, Arké 2-module supports are available for round ø 60 mm mounting boxes (with claws) and for installations based on 60 mm fixing centres or a 56x56 mm mounting box. Keeping the support aligned before fitting the plate helps the finished face sit square on the bulkhead.
On-board use
This style of cover plate is commonly used for interior switch groups and outlet positions in cabins, heads, and galleys, or on a protected helm console where wiring devices are mounted flush. It is a good match for refits that use the Arké modular system and need a consistent 2-module look across multiple locations while still matching different trim and hardware finishes.
Care and cleaning
Wipe with a soft cloth and mild cleaner. Avoid abrasive pads or aggressive solvents that can mark painted, plated, or brushed surfaces, and keep wood finishes dry after cleaning.

Shipping
We ship worldwide from the United States. Rates are calculated at checkout based on destination and package weight. Some items include free shipping, which will show automatically. Not every product is eligible for international shipping; checkout will confirm eligibility. We do not ship to PO Boxes except through USPS, and not all packages qualify.
Processing and dispatch
Most orders are verified, packed, and handed to the carrier within 1 to 2 business days. Some products may need extra handling time or ship directly from the manufacturer. For certain international orders, inventory transfers between warehouses may add time. If any delay is expected, we will let you know the dispatch date.
Delivery and tracking
Deliveries are handled by trusted carriers such as USPS, UPS, FedEx, and DHL. Estimated arrival times appear at checkout and depend on your location and the service you choose. These are estimates and can be affected by customs or carrier disruptions. A shipping confirmation with a tracking link is emailed when your order ships, and tracking may take up to 24 hours to update. You can also view tracking in your account.
Duties, taxes, and support
International customers are responsible for any customs duties, taxes, and fees charged by the destination country. If these charges are refused and a shipment returns to us, the carrier’s return cost and any re-entry customs fees will be deducted from the refund. If your order is late or you need help, contact cs@qualityboatparts.com and we will assist you.
Quality Boat Parts is a reseller. Many items include a manufacturer’s warranty, and all warranty service is handled directly by the manufacturer. We do not manage or administer warranty claims on behalf of customers.
Warranty terms, coverage, and duration are set by each manufacturer. Issues involving defects, repairs, or replacements must be addressed with the manufacturer’s support team. When available, the warranty period is listed on the product page. If it is not shown, contact us or the manufacturer for details before purchasing.
To start a claim, the customer must contact the manufacturer and follow their process. Keep your proof of purchase and original packaging, and register the product if the manufacturer requires it, as these are often needed for warranty service.
We are happy to help you find the right contact or documentation, but we cannot decide outcomes or intervene in claim resolutions. For guidance, email cs@qualityboatparts.com.
