Overview
The TACO Marine SuproFlex Small Rub Rail Kit is a 60 ft co-extruded vinyl rub rail kit for replacing or upgrading the protective rail along a boat hull. It measures 1-19/32 in high by 25/32 in wide and uses a soft front surface over a more rigid backing, giving the rail a practical balance of flex and impact absorption at docks, pilings, lifts, and raft-up contact points.
This kit is made for owners and yards that need a rub rail that can follow common hull shapes without the heavy handling of a metal rail. The SuproFlex profile requires minimal heating and does not need pre-forming, which helps during refits where the rail has to wrap cleanly around curves, corners, and transom areas.
Key features
- 60 ft rub rail kit sized at 1-19/32 in high by 25/32 in wide for small rub rail replacement and refit projects.
- Co-extruded vinyl construction uses two hardness levels, with a rigid backing and a softer front contact surface.
- Shock-absorbing channels help the rail take everyday impact from docks, trailers, pilings, and close-quarters handling.
- Ultra-flexible profile can mold to most hull shapes with minimal heating and no pre-forming.
- Uses TACO Marine Flex Chrome insert V12-0307 for a finished trim look across both color options.
- Made in the USA and backed by a 5-year limited warranty.
Variants
This SuproFlex Small Rub Rail Kit is offered in two color configurations for matching the existing trim line or changing the look of the hull during a refit.
The profile size, 60 ft length, Flex Chrome insert style, and #8 screw spacing at 4 in on center remain consistent across the listed configurations. The visible rub rail color is the main difference between the variants.
- V11-9960BBK60-2: Black rub rail with Flex Chrome insert. The black rail gives the hull side a defined trim line and is a common match for darker boat accents, windshields, hardware, and graphics.
- V11-9960WCM60-2: Frosty White rub rail with Flex Chrome insert. The white rail keeps the trim line lighter visually and is a natural fit for boats with white hulls, topsides, or existing white rub rail profiles.
Installation and fit
This profile is suited for hull-side rub rail replacement where the existing rail dimensions and shape are compatible with a 1-19/32 in by 25/32 in profile. Before ordering, compare the old rail height, width, insert style, and available mounting surface, especially around tight bow curves and transom corners.
The 60 ft length works well for many smaller boats or partial rail replacement projects, but the required length should be checked against the full perimeter being covered. Extra length is useful when trimming ends cleanly or working around hardware, end caps, and corners.
Use cases on board
This rub rail is a good match for boat owners, marine service yards, and builders handling cosmetic refits, impact protection upgrades, or replacement of worn vinyl rub rail. It is especially practical for boats that see regular dock contact, trailer loading, marina slips, fishing use, and coastal cruising where the hull edge needs protection without adding a heavy metal rail.

Quality Boat Parts is a reseller. Many items include a manufacturer’s warranty, and all warranty service is handled directly by the manufacturer. We do not manage or administer warranty claims on behalf of customers.
Warranty terms, coverage, and duration are set by each manufacturer. Issues involving defects, repairs, or replacements must be addressed with the manufacturer’s support team. When available, the warranty period is listed on the product page. If it is not shown, contact us or the manufacturer for details before purchasing.
To start a claim, the customer must contact the manufacturer and follow their process. Keep your proof of purchase and original packaging, and register the product if the manufacturer requires it, as these are often needed for warranty service.
