Overview
The Lumitec 101699 is the Poco Digital Lighting Control 3.0 module for dimming and color control of Lumitec PLI-enabled lights from a compatible MFD or a connected smart device.
It runs on positive 10 to 30 VDC for typical 12V and 24V systems. The lighting outputs support up to 10 amps per channel, with a 40 amp total limit across all channels, so it can handle multiple lighting circuits when your wiring and protection are sized correctly.
For network control, it uses a standard 10/100 Base-T LAN connection on an RJ45 (CAT-5) cable. Poco 3.0 also adds improved wireless security, an external API for third-party automation, and Triggers that let external inputs activate virtual switches inside the system.
Key features
- Controls dimming and color on Lumitec PLI-enabled lights through a compatible MFD or a connected smart device
- 10 to 30 VDC supply range to match 12V and 24V DC boat systems
- Up to 10 amps per channel, with a 40 amp combined limit across all channels
- ACC input (10 to 30 VDC) for remote activation from helm devices or an accessory circuit
- Standard 10/100 Base-T LAN connection using CAT-5 with an RJ45 connector
- External API support for integration with third-party automation systems
- Triggers feature for activating virtual switches through external inputs
- On-unit indicators for power status, channel power supply, PLI data activity, PWM dimming state, and WiFi or Bluetooth-LE connection status
Installation and setup
Plan the install so you can route DC power, lighting circuit wiring, and a CAT-5 network cable without sharp bends or chafe points. On most boats, placement near the DC distribution area or behind the helm makes it easier to keep runs short and keep wiring supported against vibration.
Provide a positive 10 to 30 VDC feed to the main power input and fuse it before it reaches the unit. Wiring the ACC line gives you a simple way to turn the controller on remotely from a helm device or a switched accessory circuit.
Each lighting circuit is wired through the IN and OUT terminals for its channel. Keep each channel within the 10 amp limit and keep the combined load across all channels within 40 amps, then match conductors, fuses, and breakers to the actual circuit loads on your boat.
Networking and control
The LAN port uses a standard 10/100 Base-T connection with an RJ45 connector, which keeps the network side familiar if you are already wiring electronics at the helm. Status lights help you confirm power, channel activity, PLI data transmission, and whether WiFi or Bluetooth-LE is connected during setup and troubleshooting.
Use cases on board
This controller is a good match for boats that already run Lumitec PLI-enabled lighting and want centralized control of multiple lighting circuits without adding more physical switches at the helm. It also suits owners who like setting lighting scenes from a chartplotter or a phone when coming into the dock or getting the cockpit ready for an evening run.
Shipping
We ship worldwide from the United States. Rates are calculated at checkout based on destination and package weight. Some items include free shipping, which will show automatically. Not every product is eligible for international shipping; checkout will confirm eligibility. We do not ship to PO Boxes except through USPS, and not all packages qualify.
Processing and dispatch
Most orders are verified, packed, and handed to the carrier within 1 to 2 business days. Some products may need extra handling time or ship directly from the manufacturer. For certain international orders, inventory transfers between warehouses may add time. If any delay is expected, we will let you know the dispatch date.
Delivery and tracking
Deliveries are handled by trusted carriers such as USPS, UPS, FedEx, and DHL. Estimated arrival times appear at checkout and depend on your location and the service you choose. These are estimates and can be affected by customs or carrier disruptions. A shipping confirmation with a tracking link is emailed when your order ships, and tracking may take up to 24 hours to update. You can also view tracking in your account.
Duties, taxes, and support
International customers are responsible for any customs duties, taxes, and fees charged by the destination country. If these charges are refused and a shipment returns to us, the carrier’s return cost and any re-entry customs fees will be deducted from the refund. If your order is late or you need help, contact cs@qualityboatparts.com and we will assist you.
Quality Boat Parts is a reseller. Many items include a manufacturer’s warranty, and all warranty service is handled directly by the manufacturer. We do not manage or administer warranty claims on behalf of customers.
Warranty terms, coverage, and duration are set by each manufacturer. Issues involving defects, repairs, or replacements must be addressed with the manufacturer’s support team. When available, the warranty period is listed on the product page. If it is not shown, contact us or the manufacturer for details before purchasing.
To start a claim, the customer must contact the manufacturer and follow their process. Keep your proof of purchase and original packaging, and register the product if the manufacturer requires it, as these are often needed for warranty service.
We are happy to help you find the right contact or documentation, but we cannot decide outcomes or intervene in claim resolutions. For guidance, email cs@qualityboatparts.com.
