Overview
The Lopolight 300-112G2-PRO-I is a 3 NM, 360-degree white navigation light with an automatic de-icing function for operation in freezing conditions. It runs on 20-32VDC and is intended for vessels over 50 m where long-range visibility and continuous operation matter.
The de-icing function is controlled by an internal sensor, increasing power draw when needed while keeping the light output consistent for night running. The housing is IP68-rated for wet decks and washdowns, and the compact footprint (Ø92.5 mm x 89.5 mm) helps when mounting space is limited on rails, platforms, and superstructure faces.
Key features
- 360-degree white light with 3 NM visibility and light intensity greater than 15 cd
- Automatic de-icing function controlled by an in-built sensor for sub-zero operation
- 20-32VDC input for common commercial DC systems
- Power draw: 4W in normal mode, 21W in de-icing mode (light on)
- IP68-rated for exposure to spray, rain, and washdowns
- Horizontal mounting with plug-connector connection for service access
- Includes three cable glands for 4.5-10 mm, 7-13 mm, and 9-17 mm cable diameters
- Housing and fasteners selected for harsh marine environments: black hard coat anodized aluminum, PMMA lens, and A4 stainless steel screws
What’s included
- Navigation light with plug connector
- Three cable glands for 4.5-10 mm, 7-13 mm, and 9-17 mm cable diameters
Installation and setup
This light is built for horizontal mounting. Confirm you have clear all-round visibility for a 360-degree light and that nearby structures, antennas, or cranes will not shadow the beam.
Use the supplied cable glands to match your cable diameter and maintain a watertight seal at the entry point. On exposed mounting locations, careful sealing around fasteners and the mounting surface helps prevent water ingress into the structure beneath the light.
Electrical and system integration
Wire the unit to a protected 20-32VDC circuit and size the protection to suit the vessel’s electrical standards, accounting for the higher draw during de-icing operation. The built-in sensor manages when de-icing is active, so the load profile can change in cold weather.
Compliance and operational fit
Approved to COLREG72, EN14744, IEC 60945, IACS E10, USCG, ABS, M.E.D., DNV, and LR, with conformance to USCG Commandant Instruction M16672.2. This is a good match for commercial operators and high-latitude routes where ice, spray, and vibration are part of normal service.
Maintenance and care
Rinse salt deposits as part of routine washdowns and check the lens for buildup that can reduce visibility. During periodic inspections, confirm the cable gland seal remains tight and that the mounting hardware stays secure after vibration and seasonal temperature swings.
Shipping
We ship worldwide from the United States. Rates are calculated at checkout based on destination and package weight. Some items include free shipping, which will show automatically. Not every product is eligible for international shipping; checkout will confirm eligibility. We do not ship to PO Boxes except through USPS, and not all packages qualify.
Processing and dispatch
Most orders are verified, packed, and handed to the carrier within 1 to 2 business days. Some products may need extra handling time or ship directly from the manufacturer. For certain international orders, inventory transfers between warehouses may add time. If any delay is expected, we will let you know the dispatch date.
Delivery and tracking
Deliveries are handled by trusted carriers such as USPS, UPS, FedEx, and DHL. Estimated arrival times appear at checkout and depend on your location and the service you choose. These are estimates and can be affected by customs or carrier disruptions. A shipping confirmation with a tracking link is emailed when your order ships, and tracking may take up to 24 hours to update. You can also view tracking in your account.
Duties, taxes, and support
International customers are responsible for any customs duties, taxes, and fees charged by the destination country. If these charges are refused and a shipment returns to us, the carrier’s return cost and any re-entry customs fees will be deducted from the refund. If your order is late or you need help, contact cs@qualityboatparts.com and we will assist you.
Quality Boat Parts is a reseller. Many items include a manufacturer’s warranty, and all warranty service is handled directly by the manufacturer. We do not manage or administer warranty claims on behalf of customers.
Warranty terms, coverage, and duration are set by each manufacturer. Issues involving defects, repairs, or replacements must be addressed with the manufacturer’s support team. When available, the warranty period is listed on the product page. If it is not shown, contact us or the manufacturer for details before purchasing.
To start a claim, the customer must contact the manufacturer and follow their process. Keep your proof of purchase and original packaging, and register the product if the manufacturer requires it, as these are often needed for warranty service.
We are happy to help you find the right contact or documentation, but we cannot decide outcomes or intervene in claim resolutions. For guidance, email cs@qualityboatparts.com.
