Overview
The Raymarine Alpha Daisy Chain Cable is an 8-pin right-angled accessory cable used to link multiple Raymarine Alpha Performance Displays together in an expanded instrument layout. It is made for Alpha 7 and Alpha 9 displays and is available in 0.3 m and 1 m lengths, giving installers a short or longer run between displays depending on the helm, mast, cockpit, or nav station layout.
This cable connects through the Alpha display daisy-chain port and helps reduce cable runs when several Alpha displays are installed together. Up to 4 Alpha Performance Displays can be connected in a daisy chain, with up to 10 Alpha displays supported in a networked system when the full installation is planned correctly.
Key features
- 8-pin right-angled daisy-chain cable for Raymarine Alpha Performance Display installations.
- Compatible with both 7 inch and 9 inch Alpha displays.
- Supports daisy-chain connection of up to 4 Alpha displays in a series.
- Available in 0.3 m and 1 m lengths to suit close display spacing or a longer jump between units.
- Connects to the dedicated daisy-chain port on the back of the Alpha display.
- Useful for expanded sailing instrument layouts where repeat data needs to be visible from more than one display position.
Variants
This product is offered in two cable lengths for different spacing needs within an Alpha display installation.
The cable length changes between variants. Both versions are for the same Alpha Daisy Chain Cable application and are suitable for Alpha 7 and Alpha 9 displays.
- A80710: Cable Length 0.3m. This short cable suits closely grouped Alpha displays, such as paired displays on a mast bracket or tight helm layout.
- A80747: Cable Length 1m. This longer cable gives more routing room between displays where the mounting positions are farther apart or the cable path needs extra slack.
Compatibility and fit
The cable is intended for Raymarine Alpha Performance Display systems and should be used with Alpha displays that have the dedicated daisy-chain connector. It is not a general transducer extension cable or a universal RayNet cable, so it should be matched to the Alpha display daisy-chain connection during system planning.
Installation notes
In an expanded Alpha setup, one display is powered through the required power and RayNet cable, while additional displays can be connected through the daisy-chain accessory cable. When several displays are connected in series, the fuse or breaker rating needs to be sized for the total number of displays in the chain.
This cable is a practical match for sailing instrument installations where cockpit crew, helm stations, or mast-mounted displays need the same performance data visible in more than one location without running a separate full cable path to every display.

Quality Boat Parts is a reseller. Many items include a manufacturer’s warranty, and all warranty service is handled directly by the manufacturer. We do not manage or administer warranty claims on behalf of customers.
Warranty terms, coverage, and duration are set by each manufacturer. Issues involving defects, repairs, or replacements must be addressed with the manufacturer’s support team. When available, the warranty period is listed on the product page. If it is not shown, contact us or the manufacturer for details before purchasing.
To start a claim, the customer must contact the manufacturer and follow their process. Keep your proof of purchase and original packaging, and register the product if the manufacturer requires it, as these are often needed for warranty service.
We are happy to help you find the right contact or documentation, but we cannot decide outcomes or intervene in claim resolutions. For guidance, email cs@qualityboatparts.com.
