Overview
The Blue Sea Systems C-Series is a white triple-pole toggle circuit breaker range for AC main circuit protection and switching on boats. It combines a manual toggle switch with magnetic hydraulic circuit protection, giving one panel-mounted device for controlling and protecting three conductors in a marine electrical system.
These breakers are built for 120V AC, 240V AC, and 80V DC maximum voltage ratings, with a 5,000A interrupt capacity at 125V AC and 240V AC. In a 240V AC main breaker installation, the triple-pole format can switch both hot lines and neutral, and all poles trip together if any one pole trips.
The trip-free mechanism cannot be held in the ON position during a fault current condition. That matters on board because a breaker should open the circuit when a fault occurs, even if someone is holding the toggle.

Installation and fit
This breaker is intended for panel mounting in a protected electrical distribution location. The terminal stud torque is 35 in-lb, and the mounting screw torque is 6 in-lb, so installation should be done with the correct tools and torque values rather than by feel alone.
