Compatibility and fit

This cradle is intended for the Forerunner 610 only. Confirm your watch model before ordering, especially if you have multiple Garmin wearables on board or in the household.

Installation and setup

Set the cradle on a stable surface where it will not slide when the boat moves, then seat the Forerunner 610 so the contacts align and it sits fully in place. Connect the cradle to a USB port for charging, or use an optional AC adapter when charging from shore power.

On a boat, route the cable so it will not be pulled by a swinging helm seat, a sliding chart table, or a moving drawer. If the cradle will live at a nav station, leaving a little slack and keeping the connector out of foot traffic helps prevent intermittent charging.

Use on board and care

Keep the cradle in a low-splash area and avoid leaving it exposed in a cockpit where salt spray can reach the contacts. If the charging pads pick up grime or salt residue, wipe them with a clean, dry cloth before docking the watch again.
