Overview
The JL Audio White Parallel Conductor Speaker Cable is a two-conductor marine speaker wire offered in 12 AWG or 16 AWG, with lengths from 25 ft (7.6 m) up to 500 ft (152.4 m). It uses tinned oxygen-free copper conductors inside a soft white PVC jacket, so the cable stays easy to route while helping slow corrosion in damp compartments and salty air.
This is the cable you run between a marine amplifier or head unit and your speakers. The parallel conductor layout keeps the two runs together and makes it easier to maintain correct speaker polarity when you are pulling wire through chases, under gunwales, or behind helm panels.
Key features
- Parallel two-conductor layout helps keep speaker polarity consistent during installation and troubleshooting
- Tinned oxygen-free copper conductors help reduce corrosion issues common in saltwater environments
- Soft, flexible white PVC jacket is easier to pull through conduits, lockers, and tight rigging runs
- True 12 AWG and true 16 AWG options to match different run lengths and system power demands
- Available as 25 ft cut lengths for targeted jobs and bulk spools for full boat rewires
Variants
This cable is available in multiple gauge and length combinations for everything from a single speaker run to a complete multi-zone install.
The variants differ by American Wire Gauge (AWG) and total length. The white PVC jacket, parallel-conductor format, and tinned copper construction remain consistent across the range.
- 010-13424-00: 16 AWG, 25 ft (7.6 m). A practical length for a focused install such as a helm-to-cabin run or a single pair of speakers.
- 010-13425-00: 16 AWG, 500 ft (152.4 m). Bulk spool suited to multi-speaker systems where you are pulling many shorter runs throughout the boat.
- 010-13449-00: 12 AWG, 25 ft (7.6 m). Heavier gauge in a manageable length when you are keeping resistance low on a short, higher-demand run.
- 010-13450-00: 12 AWG, 380 ft (115.8 m). Bulk spool for longer pulls, larger boats, and higher-power audio zones that benefit from thicker conductors.
Installation and setup
Route speaker cable away from sharp edges and moving gear, then secure it so it cannot chafe under vibration. In wet lockers and bilge-adjacent runs, sealed terminations and adhesive-lined heat shrink help keep connections stable over time.
When running near high-current DC wiring, keep separation where possible to reduce the chance of noise pickup. Label both ends during the pull so final speaker hookup at the amplifier and at each speaker stays straightforward.
Compatibility and fit
This is standard two-conductor speaker cable for marine audio systems, so it pairs with typical speaker terminals, marine amplifiers, and head units. Confirm your speaker and amplifier terminals can accept the selected gauge, especially with 12 AWG in tighter terminal blocks.
On-board use notes
This cable is a good match for boaters who want clean, consistent wiring for cockpit, cabin, or tower speaker runs and who need a jacket that stays flexible during routing. Bulk spools make sense for new builds, refits, or multi-zone audio layouts where you want one cable type throughout the boat.
Shipping
We ship worldwide from the United States. Rates are calculated at checkout based on destination and package weight. Some items include free shipping, which will show automatically. Not every product is eligible for international shipping; checkout will confirm eligibility. We do not ship to PO Boxes except through USPS, and not all packages qualify.
Processing and dispatch
Most orders are verified, packed, and handed to the carrier within 1 to 2 business days. Some products may need extra handling time or ship directly from the manufacturer. For certain international orders, inventory transfers between warehouses may add time. If any delay is expected, we will let you know the dispatch date.
Delivery and tracking
Deliveries are handled by trusted carriers such as USPS, UPS, FedEx, and DHL. Estimated arrival times appear at checkout and depend on your location and the service you choose. These are estimates and can be affected by customs or carrier disruptions. A shipping confirmation with a tracking link is emailed when your order ships, and tracking may take up to 24 hours to update. You can also view tracking in your account.
Duties, taxes, and support
International customers are responsible for any customs duties, taxes, and fees charged by the destination country. If these charges are refused and a shipment returns to us, the carrier’s return cost and any re-entry customs fees will be deducted from the refund. If your order is late or you need help, contact cs@qualityboatparts.com and we will assist you.
Quality Boat Parts is a reseller. Many items include a manufacturer’s warranty, and all warranty service is handled directly by the manufacturer. We do not manage or administer warranty claims on behalf of customers.
Warranty terms, coverage, and duration are set by each manufacturer. Issues involving defects, repairs, or replacements must be addressed with the manufacturer’s support team. When available, the warranty period is listed on the product page. If it is not shown, contact us or the manufacturer for details before purchasing.
To start a claim, the customer must contact the manufacturer and follow their process. Keep your proof of purchase and original packaging, and register the product if the manufacturer requires it, as these are often needed for warranty service.
We are happy to help you find the right contact or documentation, but we cannot decide outcomes or intervene in claim resolutions. For guidance, email cs@qualityboatparts.com.
