The grade A-5 POLY-GLU (515-6022) of Formax is a perfect tool for setting up Polishing Wheels, Belts, Discs, and Bobs. This A-5 Poly-Glu is synthetic animal hide glue with higher than normal glue film strength specifically designed for setting up abrasive grain polishing applications in grit sizes of 150 and better. The application is simple, after removing the required amount of A-5 POLY-GLU from the plastic bag, melt it by soaking it in water in a heated jacketed glue pot. Users generally prefer to use according to discretion when determining the appropriate spreadable viscosity for a given application. The amount of water incorporated into the bucket determines the desired porosity. Several first users calculated this by mixing one part POLY-GLU with one part water and then adding or subtracting water until the desired viscosity.

For setting up Polishing Wheels, Belts, Discs and Bobs.
A-5 POLY-GLU is synthesized animal hide glue of greater than normal glue film strength.
A-5 POLY-GLU was developed specifically for setting up abrasive grain polishing applications in grit sizes of 150 and finer.
A-5 POLY-GLU should be melted by water soaking in a heated jacketed glue pot after the required amount is removed from the plastic bag. The individual user generally prefers his own judgment as to what the correct spreadable viscosity should be for the particular application. This desired viscosity is determined by the amount of water added to the pot. Many first time users determined this by starting off with a ratio of one part POLY-GLU to one part water and then adding or subtracting water to reach the desired viscosity.

Shipping
We ship worldwide from the United States. Rates are calculated at checkout based on destination and package weight. Some items include free shipping, which will show automatically. Not every product is eligible for international shipping; checkout will confirm eligibility. We do not ship to PO Boxes except through USPS, and not all packages qualify.

Quality Boat Parts is a reseller. Many items include a manufacturer’s warranty, and all warranty service is handled directly by the manufacturer. We do not manage or administer warranty claims on behalf of customers.
Warranty terms, coverage, and duration are set by each manufacturer. Issues involving defects, repairs, or replacements must be addressed with the manufacturer’s support team. When available, the warranty period is listed on the product page. If it is not shown, contact us or the manufacturer for details before purchasing.
To start a claim, the customer must contact the manufacturer and follow their process. Keep your proof of purchase and original packaging, and register the product if the manufacturer requires it, as these are often needed for warranty service.
We are happy to help you find the right contact or documentation, but we cannot decide outcomes or intervene in claim resolutions. For guidance, email cs@qualityboatparts.com.
