Overview
The Blue Sea Systems Water-Resistant Circuit Breaker Switch Panel is a 12V DC marine switch panel for exposed mounting where circuit control needs to stay close to the helm, cockpit, console, or deck workstation. Each switched circuit uses an illuminated 15A circuit breaker, so the panel gives load switching, visible "ON" status and overcurrent protection in one compact control point.
The range supports a 45A maximum total continuous current when the installation uses appropriately sized wire and circuit protection. The panel front is water-resistant to IP66 on versions without the socket and USB charger, or IP45 on versions with the 12V DC socket and 2.1A dual USB charger, when mounted with the gasket in place. The polycarbonate/ABS panel surface is UV-stabilized, flame retardant and will not corrode, which suits small craft, center consoles, fishing boats and sailboat cockpits exposed to spray and sun.
Key features
- Illuminated 15A circuit breakers handle switching, "ON" indication and branch-circuit overcurrent protection.
- 12V DC nominal operation with a 45A maximum total continuous current rating when wired and fused for the connected loads.
- Panel front rating is IP66 on no-socket configurations and IP45 on socket and USB configurations when the gasket is installed correctly.
- Polycarbonate/ABS panel surface is UV-stabilized, flame retardant and will not corrode.
- Breaker boots and a gasket help protect the switch area from water ingress.
- Low-profile housing with 1.75 in depth helps the panel fit tight console, dash and cockpit spaces.
- Fast-on 0.25 in male quick-connect terminals and M5 #10 ring-terminal bus-bar connections keep wiring straightforward.
- Includes 15 square-format circuit labels for clear identification of onboard loads.
Variants
This parent range varies by position count, face color and integrated charging hardware. Configurations include 4-position and 6-position layouts, gray or camo faces, and 4-position versions with a 12V DC socket and 2.1A dual USB charger.
The core switch-panel construction remains consistent across the range: 12V DC nominal rating, illuminated 15A circuit breakers, 45A maximum total continuous current, 0.25 in male quick-connect load terminals, M5 #10 ring terminal bus connections, stainless steel #6 x 5/8 in mounting screws, and a polycarbonate/ABS panel surface. The water-resistance rating and overall height change by configuration, so the socket and USB versions and 6-position panels use the taller 6.625 in layout, while 4-position versions without socket and USB use the 5.0 in height.
Installation and wiring
Use appropriately sized marine conductors and upstream fusing for the loads assigned to each breaker. The panel uses a simple two-wire feed to power the panel bus bars, with #10 ring terminals secured to the bus bars and 0.25 in quick-connect terminals at the breaker load outputs.
Mount the panel where the front gasket can seat evenly and where the breaker boots will not be pinched by the cutout or surrounding structure. The installation guidance calls out that it should not be mounted where flammable vapors may accumulate, such as an engine room or propane locker.
Compatibility and fit
These panels fit 12V DC boat circuits such as lights, bilge pumps, livewell pumps, horns, stereos and VHF accessories when the circuit design matches the load. The 4-position no-socket panel measures 5.0 in high by 4.625 in wide by 1.75 in deep, while the 6-position and socket and USB panels measure 6.625 in high by 4.625 in wide by 1.75 in deep.
It is a good match for boat owners refitting an older dash panel or adding a compact DC control point near the helm, cockpit, center-console dash or small cabin entry. The panel is not a replacement for proper circuit planning; wire size, fuse rating and breaker assignment still need to match the boat's loads.
Shipping
We ship worldwide from the United States. Rates are calculated at checkout based on destination and package weight. Some items include free shipping, which will show automatically. Not every product is eligible for international shipping; checkout will confirm eligibility. We do not ship to PO Boxes except through USPS, and not all packages qualify.
Processing and dispatch
Most orders are verified, packed, and handed to the carrier within 1 to 2 business days. Some products may need extra handling time or ship directly from the manufacturer. For certain international orders, inventory transfers between warehouses may add time. If any delay is expected, we will let you know the dispatch date.
Delivery and tracking
Deliveries are handled by trusted carriers such as USPS, UPS, FedEx, and DHL. Estimated arrival times appear at checkout and depend on your location and the service you choose. These are estimates and can be affected by customs or carrier disruptions. A shipping confirmation with a tracking link is emailed when your order ships, and tracking may take up to 24 hours to update. You can also view tracking in your account.
Duties, taxes, and support
International customers are responsible for any customs duties, taxes, and fees charged by the destination country. If these charges are refused and a shipment returns to us, the carrier’s return cost and any re-entry customs fees will be deducted from the refund. If your order is late or you need help, contact cs@qualityboatparts.com and we will assist you.
Quality Boat Parts is a reseller. Many items include a manufacturer’s warranty, and all warranty service is handled directly by the manufacturer. We do not manage or administer warranty claims on behalf of customers.
Warranty terms, coverage, and duration are set by each manufacturer. Issues involving defects, repairs, or replacements must be addressed with the manufacturer’s support team. When available, the warranty period is listed on the product page. If it is not shown, contact us or the manufacturer for details before purchasing.
To start a claim, the customer must contact the manufacturer and follow their process. Keep your proof of purchase and original packaging, and register the product if the manufacturer requires it, as these are often needed for warranty service.
We are happy to help you find the right contact or documentation, but we cannot decide outcomes or intervene in claim resolutions. For guidance, email cs@qualityboatparts.com.
