Overview
The Blue Sea Systems WeatherDeck is a waterproof 12V/24V DC switch panel for boats that need dependable manual switching in exposed areas such as a dash, cockpit, center console, or flybridge. The panel front is rated IP67 when properly mounted with a watertight mounting gasket, and each circuit is rated 15A at 12V DC.
This WeatherDeck switch-only panel does not include circuit protection or backlighting. That makes it a practical match for boats that already handle fusing or breakers in a protected location, such as a separate fuse block, and need a clean switch panel at the helm or another wet-area station.
Key features
- Works with 12V DC and 24V DC marine electrical systems.
- Panel front is IP67 rated when installed with the proper watertight gasket.
- Each circuit is rated 15A at 12V DC.
- Integrated switch guards help reduce accidental switching when gear, clothing, or hands brush the panel.
- Can be mounted in four orientations, which helps when space is tight at the helm or on a console face.
- UV-stabilized faceplate snaps on and off for access to components and covers the mounting screws for a clean installed look.
- Reinforced polycarbonate construction handles sun, salt, spray, and vibration common on small boats and open cockpits.
- No built-in circuit protection, so branch circuits should be protected separately with properly sized fuses or breakers.
Variants
This WeatherDeck switch panel is offered in multiple position counts, so the installed footprint and number of controllable circuits change by configuration.
Across the range, the panels share the same 3.88 in width, 2.50 in depth, reinforced polycarbonate construction, 12V/24V DC system compatibility, IP67 front rating when properly mounted, 15A at 12V DC per-circuit rating, and switch-only layout with no integrated circuit protection. The height and included switch count increase as the number of positions increases.
- 4303: 2 positions. This smaller panel fits a short accessory list, such as a pair of lighting or pump circuits, while keeping the helm layout simple.
- 4305: 4 positions. This mid-size option adds room for common helm loads without taking up as much vertical space as the larger panels.
- 4307: 6 positions. This configuration gives more switch capacity for boats with several independent DC accessories grouped at one control point.
- 4309: 8 positions. This larger panel suits a fuller accessory layout where multiple DC circuits need to be controlled from the same station.
Installation and setup
Because the panel does not include fuses or circuit breakers, each load should be protected elsewhere in the DC distribution system with fuse or breaker sizing matched to the wire and equipment being controlled. This is especially useful when the helm needs waterproof switching but the actual circuit protection belongs in a dry, serviceable electrical area.
The four-orientation mounting flexibility helps the panel fit different dash layouts, vertical console faces, and retrofit openings. For the IP67 front rating to matter in real use, the mounting surface should be prepared cleanly and the watertight gasket should be installed correctly.
Use cases on board
This panel family is a good fit for small boats, tenders, center consoles, fishing boats, and open-helm installations where switches are exposed to spray, washdowns, and sunlight. It is especially useful when the boat is operated during daylight hours and does not require illuminated switches.

Quality Boat Parts is a reseller. Many items include a manufacturer’s warranty, and all warranty service is handled directly by the manufacturer. We do not manage or administer warranty claims on behalf of customers.
Warranty terms, coverage, and duration are set by each manufacturer. Issues involving defects, repairs, or replacements must be addressed with the manufacturer’s support team. When available, the warranty period is listed on the product page. If it is not shown, contact us or the manufacturer for details before purchasing.
To start a claim, the customer must contact the manufacturer and follow their process. Keep your proof of purchase and original packaging, and register the product if the manufacturer requires it, as these are often needed for warranty service.
