Overview
The Blue Sea Systems WeatherDeck is a 12V DC waterproof fuse panel for switching and protecting branch circuits in exposed marine locations. It uses ATO/ATC fuse-based circuit protection, with a 15A maximum rating per circuit and panel front protection rated IP67 when properly mounted with the watertight gasket.
This grey panel range is a practical fit for flybridges, open cockpits, center consoles, and helm areas where spray, washdowns, UV exposure, and vibration are part of normal boat use. Bicolored LED label backlighting helps show circuit status at a glance, with red for OFF, green for ON, and no color for a blown fuse or loss of circuit indication.
The panel can be mounted in four orientations, which makes it easier to work around tight console layouts, existing cutouts, and cable routing. An independent label backlighting circuit allows remote switching and dimming when it is wired into a suitable 12V DC lighting control.
Key features
- Waterproof fuse panel range for 12V DC marine electrical systems.
- Panel front is rated IP67 when properly mounted with the watertight gasket, including protection against immersion up to 1 m for 30 minutes.
- Integrated ATO/ATC fuse protection with a 15A maximum rating per circuit.
- Bicolored LED label backlighting shows OFF, ON, and blown fuse status without opening the panel.
- Independent 12V DC label backlighting circuit supports remote switching and dimming.
- Reinforced polycarbonate panel construction for exposed cockpit, flybridge, and helm installations.
- Four mounting orientations help match the panel to the available space and wire approach.
Variants
This WeatherDeck fuse panel is offered in four position counts, so the main choice is how many switched fused circuits the installation needs. The 2, 4, 6, and 8 position versions suit everything from a small accessory group to a larger helm or cockpit distribution panel.
The 12V DC rating, ATO/ATC fuse format, 15A per-circuit limit, bicolored LED label backlighting, reinforced polycarbonate construction, 3.88 in width, and 2.50 in depth remain common across these variants. The position count, height, weight, and cumulative panel rating change by configuration.
- 4302: 2 positions. This version covers two switched fused circuits with a 30A cumulative panel rating and a 2.60 in height.
- 4304: 4 positions. This version covers four switched fused circuits with a 60A cumulative panel rating and a 4.30 in height.
- 4306: 6 positions. This version covers six switched fused circuits with a 90A cumulative panel rating and a 6.00 in height.
- 4308: 8 positions. This version covers eight switched fused circuits with a 100A cumulative panel rating and a 7.70 in height.
Installation and mounting
The waterproof rating depends on correct installation, including the watertight mounting gasket and a suitable mounting surface. This matters on consoles and flybridge panels where rain, spray, and washdown water can reach the front of the panel.
Because the panel can be installed in four orientations, it gives the installer more freedom to keep labels readable, line up the switches with nearby controls, and route conductors cleanly behind the dash. The 2.50 in depth should be checked against the available space behind the mounting surface before cutting or replacing an existing panel.
Electrical integration
This panel is for 12V DC systems and should be matched to loads that stay within the 15A per-circuit rating and the cumulative rating of the chosen variant. It is suited to common switched accessory circuits such as deck lighting, electronics accessories, washdown controls, cockpit equipment, and other low-voltage DC loads when the circuit size and fuse value are correct.
The LED status function is especially useful at the helm because it makes basic troubleshooting faster. A circuit showing no color may point to a blown fuse, while no lights across all positions can indicate that the panel is not receiving power.
Use cases on board
This panel range fits boats that need fused switch control in areas that are not fully protected from weather, such as open helm stations, flybridges, hardtop electronics boxes, and cockpit control panels. It is a strong match for refits where the owner wants labeled switch control, fuse protection, and a clean grey panel face without moving to a full breaker panel.
Shipping
We ship worldwide from the United States. Rates are calculated at checkout based on destination and package weight. Some items include free shipping, which will show automatically. Not every product is eligible for international shipping; checkout will confirm eligibility. We do not ship to PO Boxes except through USPS, and not all packages qualify.
Processing and dispatch
Most orders are verified, packed, and handed to the carrier within 1 to 2 business days. Some products may need extra handling time or ship directly from the manufacturer. For certain international orders, inventory transfers between warehouses may add time. If any delay is expected, we will let you know the dispatch date.
Delivery and tracking
Deliveries are handled by trusted carriers such as USPS, UPS, FedEx, and DHL. Estimated arrival times appear at checkout and depend on your location and the service you choose. These are estimates and can be affected by customs or carrier disruptions. A shipping confirmation with a tracking link is emailed when your order ships, and tracking may take up to 24 hours to update. You can also view tracking in your account.
Duties, taxes, and support
International customers are responsible for any customs duties, taxes, and fees charged by the destination country. If these charges are refused and a shipment returns to us, the carrier’s return cost and any re-entry customs fees will be deducted from the refund. If your order is late or you need help, contact cs@qualityboatparts.com and we will assist you.
Quality Boat Parts is a reseller. Many items include a manufacturer’s warranty, and all warranty service is handled directly by the manufacturer. We do not manage or administer warranty claims on behalf of customers.
Warranty terms, coverage, and duration are set by each manufacturer. Issues involving defects, repairs, or replacements must be addressed with the manufacturer’s support team. When available, the warranty period is listed on the product page. If it is not shown, contact us or the manufacturer for details before purchasing.
To start a claim, the customer must contact the manufacturer and follow their process. Keep your proof of purchase and original packaging, and register the product if the manufacturer requires it, as these are often needed for warranty service.
We are happy to help you find the right contact or documentation, but we cannot decide outcomes or intervene in claim resolutions. For guidance, email cs@qualityboatparts.com.
