Overview
The Blue Sea Systems A-Series Circuit Breaker Lockout Slide is a panel accessory for managing multiple AC power sources through double pole circuit breakers. It allows only one double pole AC breaker to be switched on at a time, which helps keep shore power, generator power, and inverter power from being connected together on the same AC panel.
This lockout slide fits World or A-Series and Rocker double pole circuit breakers. It uses the existing circuit breaker mounting screw holes, so it can be added without special panel modification. For boats with more than one AC source, it gives the panel a simple mechanical interlock that is easy to see and use during source changes.
Key features
- Mechanical lockout for AC source selection on marine electrical panels.
- Allows only one double pole AC circuit breaker to be activated at a time.
- Helps prevent AC power from shore power, genset, or inverter sources from being mixed.
- Fits World or A-Series and Rocker double pole circuit breakers.
- Installs through the circuit breaker mounting screw holes with no special panel modification.
- Available in 2-position and 3-position configurations for different AC source layouts.
Variants
This product is offered in two configurations based on the number of lockout positions needed on the AC panel.
The main difference is the number of selectable positions. Both variants are used with double pole AC circuit breakers and share the same practical purpose: keeping only one AC source active through the breaker group at a time.
- 4125: Positions 2. This version suits a two-source AC setup, such as shore power and a genset or inverter, where the panel needs a clear mechanical lockout between two double pole breakers.
- 4126: Positions 3. This version suits a three-source AC setup, such as shore power, genset, and inverter, where the source selector area needs one additional lockout position.
Installation and fit
The slide mounts at the breaker location using the existing circuit breaker mounting screw holes. That makes it useful for refits, panel upgrades, or replacement work where the goal is to add source lockout control without cutting or reworking the panel face.
Before installation, confirm the breaker style and the number of AC sources on the vessel. This accessory is intended for World or A-Series and Rocker double pole circuit breakers, so it should be matched to the breaker layout before the panel is assembled or modified.
Use cases on board
This lockout slide is a good match for boats with more than one AC input path, especially cruising boats and fishing boats that switch between dockside shore power, a generator, or an inverter. It adds a physical layer of control at the breaker panel, which is helpful when different operators may use the boat or when source changes happen often.
