Installation and setup

For the SD Card format, power the chartplotter off, insert the card, then restart and select the chart from your map settings. Keep the card dry and store it in a case when it is not in the unit.

For the Download format, install the chart to a microSD/SD card using Garmin Express on a computer and a card reader, then move that card to the boat. Garmin Express installs one chart per card, so plan your card space and chart selection accordingly.
