Overview
The Garmin BlueChart g3 Vision HD is a detailed electronic chart for the VUS511L region (Boston, MA to Norfolk, VA) that runs on compatible Garmin chartplotters. It adds depth-focused layers like Depth Range Shading (up to 10 ranges) and contour detail down to 1 foot in many areas, plus Auto Guidance route suggestions based on your entered draft and overhead clearance.
Coverage spans from Gloucester, MA to Wildwood, NJ, including areas such as Cape Cod, Martha's Vineyard, Nantucket Island, Long Island Sound, and New York Harbor. Offshore bathymetry extends from Georges Basin to Baltimore Canyon, including features such as Georges Bank and the Hudson and Wilmington Canyons.

Variants
This chart is offered in multiple configurations to match how you want to receive and load the data.
The chart coverage and feature set stay focused on the same VUS511L Boston to Norfolk region; what changes between variants is the delivery format and the first-time setup workflow.
- 010-C0740-00: Format - microSD/SD. Arrives on a chart card that is ready to insert into a compatible chartplotter's card slot.
- 010-D0499-00: Format - Download. Installed to a microSD/SD card using Garmin Express before you use it in a compatible chartplotter.
Compatibility and fit
This cartography is intended for Garmin chartplotters that support BlueChart g3 Vision charts and have a microSD or SD card slot. If your plotter uses a different chart family, it may not recognize this chart.
Installation and updates
For the card format, insert the microSD/SD card into the chartplotter and leave it in place whenever you want access to the chart data. For the download format, Garmin Express is used on a computer to download the chart and write it to a microSD/SD card for use in a registered chartplotter.
Only one chart can be installed to a single microSD/SD card. Extra chart layers such as NOAA raster cartography can be downloaded through the ActiveCaptain app when supported by your setup.
Use on board
This coverage is a good match for skippers running the southern New England and Mid-Atlantic coastline who want one chart that follows the route past busy approaches, bays, and inlets. It also suits anglers who rely on tight contour detail and relief shading when looking for structure around nearshore grounds and canyon edges.

Quality Boat Parts is a reseller. Many items include a manufacturer’s warranty, and all warranty service is handled directly by the manufacturer. We do not manage or administer warranty claims on behalf of customers.
Warranty terms, coverage, and duration are set by each manufacturer. Issues involving defects, repairs, or replacements must be addressed with the manufacturer’s support team. When available, the warranty period is listed on the product page. If it is not shown, contact us or the manufacturer for details before purchasing.
To start a claim, the customer must contact the manufacturer and follow their process. Keep your proof of purchase and original packaging, and register the product if the manufacturer requires it, as these are often needed for warranty service.
