Overview
The Garmin 010-04355-00 is a Lumishore TIX402 thru-hull underwater camera for adding a live Full HD 1080p view below the waterline. It uses a flush-fit hull installation, which keeps the camera profile low while giving the helm a clear look at sea life, bottom structure, or the water around the boat.
This camera has a 67-degree viewing angle, a 3.6 mm fixed-focus lens, low-light mode, wide dynamic range, and dynamic noise reduction. It runs on 12 V DC with a maximum current draw of 0.25 A, and it outputs video through BNC connections as HD-SDI or composite NTSC/PAL.
The housing is marine grade aluminum bronze, and the unit is IP68-rated for dust and water protection. It is a practical fit for owners adding an underwater view to a compatible video display, monitor, or marine electronics setup that accepts the camera output format.
Key features
- Full HD 1080p underwater video for viewing marine life, bottom detail, and the area below the hull.
- 67-degree viewing angle gives a useful field of view without needing a large camera body on the hull.
- Flush-fit thru-hull format keeps the installation low profile and suited to permanent below-waterline mounting.
- HD-SDI and composite NTSC/PAL outputs through BNC connections support integration with compatible video equipment.
- 12 V DC power requirement with a maximum current draw of 0.25 A for straightforward connection to a suitable onboard DC circuit.
- Low-light mode, wide dynamic range, and dynamic noise reduction help keep the image usable in changing underwater light conditions.
- Marine grade aluminum bronze housing and IP68 dust and water protection support use in demanding underwater marine environments.
Installation and setup
The TIX402 is made for a thru-hull installation, so fitment should be planned around hull thickness, service access inside the boat, cable routing, and the display or video system it will feed. Because the output is video-based rather than a marine network data connection, the receiving equipment needs to support HD-SDI or composite NTSC/PAL through the appropriate BNC input or converter.
Power should be supplied from a protected 12 V DC circuit. As with any below-waterline fitting, the installation should be handled carefully with the correct sealant, bedding method, and inspection access for the hull location.
Use cases on board
This camera makes sense for boats where the owner wants more than deck-level visibility. It can help show fish activity, underwater terrain, reef or bottom detail, and the water around the hull while fishing, cruising, or spending time at anchor.
The flush hull format is also useful where a clean exterior profile matters, such as performance boats, cruising yachts, and vessels where hardware below the waterline needs to stay tidy and protected.
Maintenance and care
For best results, keep the camera face clean and inspect the thru-hull area during regular hull maintenance. Marine growth, film, or bottom paint on the viewing surface can reduce image clarity, especially in low-light water or when viewing fine bottom detail.

Quality Boat Parts is a reseller. Many items include a manufacturer’s warranty, and all warranty service is handled directly by the manufacturer. We do not manage or administer warranty claims on behalf of customers.
Warranty terms, coverage, and duration are set by each manufacturer. Issues involving defects, repairs, or replacements must be addressed with the manufacturer’s support team. When available, the warranty period is listed on the product page. If it is not shown, contact us or the manufacturer for details before purchasing.
To start a claim, the customer must contact the manufacturer and follow their process. Keep your proof of purchase and original packaging, and register the product if the manufacturer requires it, as these are often needed for warranty service.
