Overview
The TACO Marine M20-1013E is a 13-1/8" x 10" electric low-profile seat slide for boat seats from 23" to 28" wide. It gives the helm or companion seat up to 5" of fore-and-aft travel, with the electric actuator allowing the seat to stop anywhere between the fully retracted and fully extended positions.
This seat slide runs on 12V DC power with a 9 amp maximum current draw. The assembly has an IP66 water-resistant rating, a 3500N maximum load rating, and 1500N push and pull force, which makes it a practical upgrade for helm seats, leaning-post seating, and box-mounted seating where quick position adjustment matters underway.
The low-profile track uses a precision-machined 6000-series aluminum chassis with an acid-etched clear anodized finish. Its rail and linear glide system is self-lubricating, dirt resistant, corrosion free, and built to keep movement smooth in the salt, spray, vibration, and grit found around marine seating areas.
Key features
- Fits boat seats from 23" to 28" wide, with a 13-1/8" x 10" slide footprint and 2-1/4" overall height.
- Provides up to 5" of seat travel, with stop-anywhere electric adjustment between full extension and full retraction.
- 12V DC actuator draws up to 9 amps, making it suitable for typical marine DC electrical systems when wired with proper circuit protection.
- IP66 water-resistant rating helps protect the actuator and slide assembly from spray, washdowns, and wet cockpit conditions.
- Rated for 3500N maximum load with 1500N push and pull force, with actuator speed of 13.5 mm/sec at 1500N.
- Self-locking actuator holds the seat position at rated loads without a separate manual locking lever.
- Meets H31 testing standards for seat applications, supporting use in marine seating installations where safety and stability matter.
- Precision-machined 6000-series aluminum chassis with an acid-etched clear anodized finish helps resist corrosion in marine environments.
- Self-lubricating rail and linear glide system resists dirt buildup and keeps the seat moving smoothly with less routine service.
- Universal mounting bolt pattern works with both pedestal and box seat applications, which helps simplify replacement or upgrade projects.
- Quiet operation at or below 58 dB keeps seat adjustment from becoming intrusive at the helm or in a cockpit seating area.
Installation and fit
This slide is a good match for boat owners upgrading from a fixed or manually sliding seat to an electric adjustment setup, especially at the helm where reach to the wheel, throttle, displays, and footrest changes between operators. The universal mounting pattern supports pedestal and box applications, but the existing seat base, deck structure, and fastener layout should be checked before installation.
Because the unit is electric, the mounting location needs access to a properly protected 12V DC circuit and enough clearance for the full 5" travel range. The seat, slide, and mounting surface should all move freely without fouling the console, side panels, cushions, or nearby hardware.
Electrical and on-board use
The 12V DC actuator is useful on center consoles, sport-fishing boats, cruisers, and other helm layouts where seating position changes during docking, cruising, or long runs. The self-locking function helps the seat stay where it is set, while the low operating noise keeps adjustments discreet in enclosed helms or quiet cockpit areas.
As with any powered seating component, wiring should be routed where it is protected from chafe, standing water, and pinch points created by seat movement. Confirm polarity, fuse protection, and cable strain relief during installation so the slide remains dependable through repeated adjustments.
Maintenance and care
The self-lubricating glide system reduces the need for added lubrication, but the slide should still be rinsed with fresh water after saltwater exposure and kept free of sand, fish debris, and cleaning residue. Periodic checks of the mounting hardware, wiring, and travel path help keep the seat adjustment smooth and secure through regular use.
Shipping
We ship worldwide from the United States. Rates are calculated at checkout based on destination and package weight. Some items include free shipping, which will show automatically. Not every product is eligible for international shipping; checkout will confirm eligibility. We do not ship to PO Boxes except through USPS, and not all packages qualify.

Quality Boat Parts is a reseller. Many items include a manufacturer’s warranty, and all warranty service is handled directly by the manufacturer. We do not manage or administer warranty claims on behalf of customers.
Warranty terms, coverage, and duration are set by each manufacturer. Issues involving defects, repairs, or replacements must be addressed with the manufacturer’s support team. When available, the warranty period is listed on the product page. If it is not shown, contact us or the manufacturer for details before purchasing.
To start a claim, the customer must contact the manufacturer and follow their process. Keep your proof of purchase and original packaging, and register the product if the manufacturer requires it, as these are often needed for warranty service.
