The SOLENOID ARCO (SW109) is a powerhouse that converts electrical energy into mechanical work. It is a device consisting of a coil of wire, the housing, and a moveable plunger (armature). When an electrical current reaches the coil, a magnetic field arises around it and draws the plunger in. The SOLENOID ARCO (SW109) is composed of many turns of tightly wound copper wire electrical current flows through this wire, then a powerful magnetic field/flux is created.
SOLENOID by ARCO (SW109) is designed with HD models featuring heavy-duty coil & contact assembly. It is a larger contact area with high temp housing for less distortion, molded-in studs for precise contact, and high temp coil assembly. It has a one-piece moving core with a solid brass stem.
