Overview
The Perko 1267 is a round type rowlock horn set for small boats, tenders, dinghies, and rowboats that use removable oars. Each horn has a 1/2 inch shank diameter, a 1-3/4 inch shank length, and a 2 inch inside horn opening, which are the main dimensions to check against the boat’s existing rowlock sockets and oar setup.
The horns are made from zinc alloy and are offered in plain or chrome plated finishes. This hardware suits straightforward rowing stations where the buyer needs a replacement pair or a matching set for a new installation, without adding unnecessary moving parts or electrical complexity.
Key features
- Round type rowlock horns for use with oars on small craft, tenders, dinghies, and rowboats.
- 1/2 inch shank outside diameter helps confirm fit with compatible rowlock sockets.
- 1-3/4 inch shank length supports a secure seated fit in the matching socket.
- 2 inch inside horn opening gives the oar room to pivot during normal rowing strokes.
- Zinc alloy construction with plain and chrome plated finish options.
- Supplied as a pair, so both port and starboard rowing positions can be matched.
Variants
This Perko 1267 rowlock horn set is offered in two finish configurations. Both variants share the same round rowlock horn format and the same published shank and horn dimensions.
The finish is the only listed difference between the two options. The plain finish keeps the hardware simple and utilitarian, while the chrome plated finish gives the exposed hardware a brighter look for boats where deck hardware appearance matters.
- 1267DP0ZNC: Plain finish. This version is suited to straightforward replacement work where a non-chrome appearance is acceptable.
- 1267DP0CHR: Chrome finish. This version has a brighter plated surface for installations where the rowlock horns remain visible on the boat.
What’s included
- One pair of round type rowlock horns
Compatibility and fit
Before ordering, check the socket diameter and depth on the boat against the 1/2 inch shank diameter and 1-3/4 inch shank length. The 2 inch inside horn opening should also be checked against the oar size and the way the oar sits during the stroke, especially when replacing older hardware that may have worn or non-standard dimensions.
Use on board
This set is a practical match for boats that still rely on oars for tender service, short harbor moves, backup propulsion, or simple rowing use around docks and moorings. It is most relevant for small craft where easy handling and straightforward hardware replacement matter more than complex fittings.

Processing and dispatch
Most orders are verified, packed, and handed to the carrier within 1 to 2 business days. Some products may need extra handling time or ship directly from the manufacturer. Quality Boat Parts is a reseller. Many items include a manufacturer’s warranty, and all warranty service is handled directly by the manufacturer. We do not manage or administer warranty claims on behalf of customers.
Warranty terms, coverage, and duration are set by each manufacturer. Issues involving defects, repairs, or replacements must be addressed with the manufacturer’s support team. When available, the warranty period is listed on the product page. If it is not shown, contact us or the manufacturer for details before purchasing.
To start a claim, the customer must contact the manufacturer and follow their process. Keep your proof of purchase and original packaging, and register the product if the manufacturer requires it, as these are often needed for warranty service.
We are happy to help you find the right contact or documentation, but we cannot decide outcomes or intervene in claim resolutions. For guidance, email cs@qualityboatparts.com.
