Overview

The Blue Sea Systems 5024 is a ST-Blade battery terminal mount fuse block kit for adding four fused branch circuits at the battery on DC systems up to 32V. It mounts on a 3/8 in. (M10) battery terminal stud, accepts ATO and ATC blade fuses, and is rated for 30A per circuit with 100A maximum per block.

This is a tidy way to add a few new accessory feeds without ending up with several inline fuse holders around the battery. The kit also includes a matching negative busbar, which helps keep return wiring organized when you are adding small DC loads close to the battery bank.

Key features
  • Four fused ATO and ATC branch circuits for accessory distribution at the battery
  • 30A maximum per circuit and 100A maximum per block
  • 32V DC maximum operating voltage, which suits common 12V and 24V boat systems
  • Mounts directly on a 3/8 in. (M10) battery terminal stud
  • #8-32 screw terminals with captive star lock washers for branch-circuit connections
  • Insulating cover meets ABYC and USCG insulation requirements
  • Ignition protected to ISO 8846 and SAE J1171 for use in gasoline engine compartments
  • Includes a 4-circuit negative busbar, write-on labels, and eight nylon insulated ring terminals
Installation and fit

The battery-terminal layout keeps circuit protection close to the power source, which is useful on smaller boats and refits where there is not much room for a separate fuse panel. Before installation, check that the battery terminal has enough clearance for the fuse block, cover, and wire bends, and confirm that the stud size matches the 3/8 in. (M10) mounting hole.

Each branch circuit lands on a screw terminal, so this setup works well when you want a straightforward service point for added electronics, lighting, pumps, or charging outlets. Because it uses standard ATO and ATC blade fuses, each circuit can be protected to match the wire size and the connected load.

Use on board

This kit fits boats that need a compact distribution point near the battery rather than a larger panel-mounted fuse block farther away. It is a practical match for tenders, center consoles, small sailboats, and other installations where four protected circuits are enough and clean battery-area wiring matters.

Quality Boat Parts is a reseller. Many items include a manufacturer’s warranty, and all warranty service is handled directly by the manufacturer. We do not manage or administer warranty claims on behalf of customers.

Warranty terms, coverage, and duration are set by each manufacturer. Issues involving defects, repairs, or replacements must be addressed with the manufacturer’s support team. When available, the warranty period is listed on the product page. If it is not shown, contact us or the manufacturer for details before purchasing.

To start a claim, the customer must contact the manufacturer and follow their process. Keep your proof of purchase and original packaging, and register the product if the manufacturer requires it, as these are often needed for warranty service.
