Overview

The Garmin 010-02879-01/LIVESCOPE is a 10 in chartplotter and fishfinder bundle that pairs an ECHOMAP Ultra 2 102sv display with a GT56UHD-TM transom-mount transducer and LiveScope Plus live-scanning sonar. It is built for anglers who want charting and multiple sonar views on one screen, with wiring and ports that fit common small-boat and mid-size fishing setups.

The display runs a WXGA IPS touchscreen at 1280 x 800 and uses keyed assist for quick zoom and menu work with wet hands. It is rated IPX7 and measures 11.6 x 7.7 x 3.9 in, which helps when you are checking dash space for a bail mount or a flush install.

Power input is 9 to 18 Vdc with typical current draw of 2.3 A at 12 V (up to 5.0 A max). Built-in sonar output is 600 W with CHIRP traditional sonar plus ClearVü and SideVü scanning, and the unit supports both NMEA 2000 and NMEA 0183 for tying into existing marine electronics.

  • GT56UHD-TM transom-mount transducer included for CHIRP traditional sonar and ultra high-definition scanning views
  • LiveScope Plus included in the bundle for live-scanning sonar on the same display

Installation and setup

You can mount the display with the included bail bracket when you want quick removal at the end of the day, or flush mount it for a cleaner helm. Leave room behind the unit for cable bend radius and strain relief so connectors are not taking the load in chop.

The GT56UHD-TM is a transom-mount transducer. It works best when it stays in clean water flow, away from steps, strakes, and trailer bunks that can aerate the face. After your first run, a small height or angle adjustment can make a big difference in how well side and down views hold bottom at speed.

Electrical and system integration

This unit is meant for 9 to 18 Vdc power, which matches a 12 V electronics bus. If your boat is primarily 24 V, plan on a regulated step-down converter so the display sees the correct voltage range. Typical draw at 12 V is 2.3 A, with up to 5.0 A maximum draw, so it helps to run it on a clean circuit with proper protection and solid grounds.

For networking, there is a NMEA 2000 port and NMEA 0183 support for bringing in data from compatible devices on board. Two Garmin Marine Network ports are available for wired expansion, and Wi-Fi can share sonar, waypoints, and routes with compatible displays using a one-to-one wireless connection. LiveScope sonar data cannot be shared wirelessly between two ECHOMAP Ultra 2 or ECHOMAP UHD2 units.

Maps and storage

Two microSD card slots give you room for chart cards and updates without constantly swapping media. The unit supports BlueChart g3 and g3 Vision, LakeVü g3 and g3 Ultra, Garmin Navionics+ and Garmin Navionics Vision+, plus TOPO 100K mapping. It can also store up to 5,000 waypoints, 50,000 track points, 50 saved tracks, and 100 routes.

This bundle is a good match for bass boats, bay boats, and multi-species rigs where you want a 10 in display at the bow or helm and you plan to use live-scanning sonar alongside traditional and scanning views. It also fits mixed freshwater and coastal use when you want the flexibility to add the charting that matches where you run.

We ship worldwide from the United States. Rates are calculated at checkout based on destination and package weight. Some items include free shipping, which will show automatically. Not every product is eligible for international shipping; checkout will confirm eligibility. We do not ship to PO Boxes except through USPS, and not all packages qualify.

Processing and dispatch
Most orders are verified, packed, and handed to the carrier within 1 to 2 business days. Some products may need extra handling time or ship directly from the manufacturer. For certain international orders, inventory transfers between warehouses may add time. If any delay is expected, we will let you know the dispatch date.

Delivery and tracking
Deliveries are handled by trusted carriers such as USPS, UPS, FedEx, and DHL. Estimated arrival times appear at checkout and depend on your location and the service you choose. These are estimates and can be affected by customs or carrier disruptions. A shipping confirmation with a tracking link is emailed when your order ships, and tracking may take up to 24 hours to update. You can also view tracking in your account.

Duties, taxes, and support
International customers are responsible for any customs duties, taxes, and fees charged by the destination country. If your order is late or you need help, contact cs@qualityboatparts.com and we will assist you.

Quality Boat Parts is a reseller. Many items include a manufacturer’s warranty, and all warranty service is handled directly by the manufacturer. We do not manage or administer warranty claims on behalf of customers.

Warranty terms, coverage, and duration are set by each manufacturer. Issues involving defects, repairs, or replacements must be addressed with the manufacturer’s support team. When available, the warranty period is listed on the product page. If it is not shown, contact us or the manufacturer for details before purchasing.

To start a claim, the customer must contact the manufacturer and follow their process. Keep your proof of purchase and original packaging, and register the product if the manufacturer requires it, as these are often needed for warranty service.

We are happy to help you find the right contact or documentation, but we cannot decide outcomes or intervene in claim resolutions. For guidance, email cs@qualityboatparts.com.
