Overview
The Raymarine T70330 is the EV-150 Power Pilot package with a Type 1 hydraulic pump for small to medium powerboats with hydraulic steering. It is built around Raymarine's Evolution autopilot system and is intended for single-engine outboards or single inboard engines with steering cylinder capacity from 80 cc to 230 cc, or 4.9 cu in to 14.0 cu in.
This package runs on a 12 V dc electrical system and pairs the EV-1 sensor core, ACU-150 actuator control unit, p70Rs control head, cabling kit, and Type 1 12 V hydraulic pump in one system. The pump connects into the boat's hydraulic steering lines so the autopilot can move fluid through the steering system while the ACU controls the drive electronics.
For owners adding autopilot control to a hydraulic powerboat, the main fit checks are the steering ram capacity, 12 V dc power, available mounting space for the control components, and proper hydraulic integration at the helm or steering system. It suits cruising, fishing, and longer runs where steady course keeping and reduced manual steering effort matter.
Key features
- Complete EV-150 hydraulic autopilot package with p70Rs control head, ACU-150 actuator control unit, EV-1 sensor core, cabling kit, and Type 1 12 V hydraulic pump.
- Matches hydraulic steering cylinder capacities from 80 cc to 230 cc, or 4.9 cu in to 14.0 cu in, for many small to medium powerboats.
- For 12 V dc systems, with ACU-150 operating voltage range of 10.8 V dc to 15.6 V dc.
- EV-1 9-axis sensor core tracks vessel motion and heading changes so the autopilot can adapt as sea conditions and boat dynamics change.
- Hydro-Balance technology compensates for elasticity in hydraulic steering systems and helps reduce steering oscillation and drive-unit hunting.
- Type 1 hydraulic pump connects to the steering lines and is controlled by the Evolution ACU for direct autopilot steering input.
- ACU-150 has a 180 mm width, 140 mm height, and 52 mm depth, which helps with planning the below-deck mounting location.
- SeaTalkng connection supports integration with compatible Raymarine autopilot and network components.
Installation and setup
The EV-150 is a below-decks autopilot system, so installation should be planned around the hydraulic pump location, the ACU-150 mounting area, cable routing, and access to a protected 12 V dc supply. The hydraulic pump must be installed into the steering circuit in a way that suits the boat's existing helm, cylinder, and steering layout.
The ACU-150 houses the main power and drive electronics and should be mounted where it is protected from direct exposure while still allowing service access. The ACU-150 connector panel is rated IPx2 and the drive electronics are rated IPx6, so the mounting location should still be chosen with washdowns, bilge moisture, vibration, and cable strain in mind.
Compatibility and fit
This system is for hydraulic steering only and is not the right match for mechanical cable steering or 24 V dc installations. Before ordering, confirm that the steering cylinder capacity falls within the 80 cc to 230 cc range and that the boat uses a 12 V dc electrical system.
The included Type 1 12 V hydraulic pump is the key difference from a no-drive autopilot pack. It gives a complete starting point for boats that need the hydraulic drive unit as part of the installation, rather than boats already fitted with a compatible Type 1 drive.

Shipping
We ship worldwide from the United States. Rates are calculated at checkout based on destination and package weight. Some items include free shipping, which will show automatically. Not every product is eligible for international shipping; checkout will confirm eligibility. We do not ship to PO Boxes except through USPS, and not all packages qualify.
Processing and dispatch
Most orders are verified, packed, and handed to the carrier within 1 to 2 business days. Some products may need extra handling time or ship directly from the manufacturer. For certain international orders, inventory transfers between warehouses may add time. If any delay is expected, we will let you know the dispatch date.
Delivery and tracking
Deliveries are handled by trusted carriers such as USPS, UPS, FedEx, and DHL. Estimated arrival times appear at checkout and depend on your location and the service you choose. These are estimates and can be affected by customs or carrier disruptions. A shipping confirmation with a tracking link is emailed when your order ships, and tracking may take up to 24 hours to update. You can also view tracking in your account.
Duties, taxes, and support
International customers are responsible for any customs duties, taxes, and fees charged by the destination country. If these charges are refused and a shipment returns to us, the carrier’s return cost and any re-entry customs fees will be deducted from the refund. If your order is late or you need help, contact cs@qualityboatparts.com and we will assist you.
Quality Boat Parts is a reseller. Many items include a manufacturer’s warranty, and all warranty service is handled directly by the manufacturer. We do not manage or administer warranty claims on behalf of customers.
Warranty terms, coverage, and duration are set by each manufacturer. Issues involving defects, repairs, or replacements must be addressed with the manufacturer’s support team. When available, the warranty period is listed on the product page. If it is not shown, contact us or the manufacturer for details before purchasing.
To start a claim, the customer must contact the manufacturer and follow their process. Keep your proof of purchase and original packaging, and register the product if the manufacturer requires it, as these are often needed for warranty service.
We are happy to help you find the right contact or documentation, but we cannot decide outcomes or intervene in claim resolutions. For guidance, email cs@qualityboatparts.com.
