Overview
The Garmin BlueChart g3 Vision HD - VEU484S is a coastal electronic chart for North-West Ireland, supplied for use from a microSD or SD card slot on compatible Garmin chartplotters.
Coverage includes detailed charting from Londonderry to Galway Bay, with additional detail for areas including Sligo, Ballina, Galway, and Donegal Bay. This chart layer set adds features such as Auto Guidance route suggestions (when supported), depth range shading with up to 10 depth ranges, shallow water shading you can set to your own depth, and bottom detail shown with 1 ft contours.
For situational awareness when approaching the coast and entering harbors, it also supports satellite imagery overlays, 3D perspectives above and below the waterline (MarinerEye and FishEye views), and aerial photography coverage in many ports and marinas where available.

Variants
This chart is available in two delivery formats.
The mapped area and chart content are the same for both options. The difference is how you receive and load the cartography onto a card for your chartplotter.
- 010-C0828-00, Format: SD Card. A preloaded microSD or SD card that is inserted into the chartplotter to access the charts.
- 010-D0419-00, Format: Download. A downloadable version that is installed to a microSD or SD card using Garmin Express before placing the card in the chartplotter.
Compatibility and fit
Your Garmin chartplotter must support BlueChart g3 Vision cartography and have a microSD or SD card slot for chart access. Chart features such as 3D views and Auto Guidance depend on the chartplotter model and its software support.
Installation and setup
For the card format, insert the chart card into the plotter and restart if needed so the unit indexes the new charts. For the download format, install the chart to a microSD or SD card using Garmin Express, then insert that card into the chartplotter for use on the water.
Once loaded, set your preferred depth ranges and shallow water shading to match your vessel and typical draft, then verify your chart detail and overlays at the dock before relying on them underway.
Use cases on board
This chart fits boats cruising the Irish west and north-west coast who want extra detail for harbor approaches, coastal routing, and fishing structure reading. It is also a good match for skippers who like using shaded depth bands and 3D views to cross-check what they are seeing outside against the chart display.
Care and handling
Keep the chart card clean and dry, and store it in its case when not in use. Avoid repeated removal while the plotter is writing data, and keep spare cards and adapters stowed away from spray and condensation.

Quality Boat Parts is a reseller. Many items include a manufacturer’s warranty, and all warranty service is handled directly by the manufacturer. We do not manage or administer warranty claims on behalf of customers.
Warranty terms, coverage, and duration are set by each manufacturer. Issues involving defects, repairs, or replacements must be addressed with the manufacturer’s support team. When available, the warranty period is listed on the product page. If it is not shown, contact us or the manufacturer for details before purchasing.
To start a claim, the customer must contact the manufacturer and follow their process. Keep your proof of purchase and original packaging, and register the product if the manufacturer requires it, as these are often needed for warranty service.
