Overview
The Garmin BlueChart g3 HD HXPC024R is an electronic coastal chart for Australia and New Zealand used on compatible Garmin chartplotters. It covers the full region with detailed coastal information for planning and navigation, including major cruising and fishing areas like the Great Barrier Reef, Brisbane and Sydney, the southern coast around Melbourne, Adelaide and Tasmania, plus western and northern waters around Perth, Darwin and the Gulf of Carpentaria.
This chart is a good match when your boat already runs a Garmin plotter and you want dedicated AU/NZ cartography on a removable card or as a computer download you can load to a card. It is meant for coastal navigation, harbor approaches, and day-to-day route planning where local depth detail and shoreline features matter.
Key features
- Coverage for Australia and New Zealand, including many of the main ports and coastal cruising areas.
- Available as a physical microSD/SD card format or as a download format, depending on how you prefer to load charts.
- Works with compatible Garmin chartplotters that support BlueChart g3 cartography.
- Download format supports loading the chart to a microSD/SD card using Garmin Express.
- When loading by download, plan on dedicating a single card to this chart rather than combining multiple charts on one card.
Variants
This product is offered in multiple configurations so you can match the delivery format to the way you manage charts on your boat.
The chart region stays the same across the range, while the format changes between a card-based option and a computer download you load onto a microSD/SD card.
- 010-C1020-20: SD Card format. This is the physical chart on a card for chartplotters that read removable chart media.
- 010-D0599-00: Download format. This is delivered digitally and is loaded onto a compatible microSD/SD card using Garmin Express before it is used in the chartplotter.
Compatibility and fit
Confirm that your Garmin chartplotter supports BlueChart g3 charts and check whether it uses a full-size SD slot or a microSD slot before ordering. If your plotter has multiple card slots, use the one intended for chart cartography.
Installation and setup
For the SD card format, power the chartplotter off, insert the chart card, then power back on and select the chart layer from your mapping options.
For the download format, install the chart to a microSD/SD card from a computer, then move that card to the chartplotter. Use a quality Class 10 card and format it the way your plotter expects so the install and updates go smoothly.
Use on board
This charting is most useful for coastal cruising, offshore runs that stay within charted coastal waters, and fishing trips where you want clear local detail around reefs, bays, and port approaches in Australia and New Zealand.
Shipping
We ship worldwide from the United States. Rates are calculated at checkout based on destination and package weight. Some items include free shipping, which will show automatically. Not every product is eligible for international shipping; checkout will confirm eligibility. We do not ship to PO Boxes except through USPS, and not all packages qualify.
Processing and dispatch
Most orders are verified, packed, and handed to the carrier within 1 to 2 business days. Some products may need extra handling time or ship directly from the manufacturer. For certain international orders, inventory transfers between warehouses may add time. If any delay is expected, we will let you know the dispatch date.
Delivery and tracking
Deliveries are handled by trusted carriers such as USPS, UPS, FedEx, and DHL. Estimated arrival times appear at checkout and depend on your location and the service you choose. These are estimates and can be affected by customs or carrier disruptions. A shipping confirmation with a tracking link is emailed when your order ships, and tracking may take up to 24 hours to update. You can also view tracking in your account.
Duties, taxes, and support
International customers are responsible for any customs duties, taxes, and fees charged by the destination country. If these charges are refused and a shipment returns to us, the carrier’s return cost and any re-entry customs fees will be deducted from the refund. If your order is late or you need help, contact cs@qualityboatparts.com and we will assist you.
Quality Boat Parts is a reseller. Many items include a manufacturer’s warranty, and all warranty service is handled directly by the manufacturer. We do not manage or administer warranty claims on behalf of customers.
Warranty terms, coverage, and duration are set by each manufacturer. Issues involving defects, repairs, or replacements must be addressed with the manufacturer’s support team. When available, the warranty period is listed on the product page. If it is not shown, contact us or the manufacturer for details before purchasing.
To start a claim, the customer must contact the manufacturer and follow their process. Keep your proof of purchase and original packaging, and register the product if the manufacturer requires it, as these are often needed for warranty service.
We are happy to help you find the right contact or documentation, but we cannot decide outcomes or intervene in claim resolutions. For guidance, email cs@qualityboatparts.com.
