Overview
The Garmin BlueChart g3 Vision HD VEU468S is a coastal electronic chart for Southern Sweden from Södertälje to Trelleborg, covering areas such as Kalmar, Norrköping, Karlskrona, lakes Sommen and Nommen, plus Gotland, Öland and Bornholm.
It combines navigational chart data with Vision-style layers, including high-resolution satellite imagery overlays, aerial photos for many ports and marinas, and 3D views (MarinerEye and FishEye) for extra perspective when you are running tight channels or lining up an approach.
For day-to-day piloting, it also supports Auto Guidance route suggestions based on your selected depth and overhead clearance, along with depth range shading for up to 10 depth ranges, shallow-water shading, and contour detail up to 1-foot where available.
Key features
- Coastal coverage for Södertälje to Trelleborg, with additional detail for Kalmar, Norrköping, Karlskrona, lakes Sommen and Nommen, and the islands of Gotland, Öland and Bornholm
- Auto Guidance route suggestions that use your chosen depth and overhead clearance settings
- Depth range shading for up to 10 depth ranges to make target depths easier to spot at a glance
- Shallow-water shading that can highlight water you consider too shallow for your boat
- Contour detail up to 1-foot where available for better bottom definition
- Satellite imagery overlays to help visually confirm entrances, landmarks, and marina layouts
- 3D views (MarinerEye and FishEye) for perspective above and below the waterline
- Aerial photography for many ports, harbors, and marinas to support close-in navigation
Variants
This chart is offered in two formats.
The chart data and coverage stay the same; the difference is how it is delivered and managed on your boat.
- 010-C0812-00: Format microSD/SD. A pre-programmed card that loads charts as soon as it is inserted into a compatible chartplotter card slot.
- 010-D0410-00: Format Download. A downloadable chart that is installed to a microSD/SD card using Garmin Express and unlocked to the compatible device selected during the download process.
Compatibility and fit
This cartography is intended for compatible Garmin chartplotters that support BlueChart g3 Vision and have a microSD/SD card slot. On boats with multiple compatible Garmin displays on a Garmin marine network, the mapping can be shared from a single card when the chart is inserted into the device handling the chart data.
Vision-style layers are meant for chartplotter use; they are not generally suited to handheld or watch use.
Installation and setup
For the microSD/SD format, insert the card into the chartplotter and allow the unit to read the card before getting underway. For the Download format, Garmin Express is used to write the chart to a microSD/SD card; only one chart can be installed per card, so dedicate a card to this region for the cleanest setup.
Use on board
This coverage is a good match for coastal cruising and harbor work along Southern Sweden, and for skippers who want extra visual references like satellite imagery and aerial photos when entering unfamiliar ports. The depth and shading tools are also useful when you are planning routes around shoals, rocky structure, or narrow soundings.
Shipping
We ship worldwide from the United States. Rates are calculated at checkout based on destination and package weight. Some items include free shipping, which will show automatically. Not every product is eligible for international shipping; checkout will confirm eligibility. We do not ship to PO Boxes except through USPS, and not all packages qualify.
Processing and dispatch
Most orders are verified, packed, and handed to the carrier within 1 to 2 business days. Some products may need extra handling time or ship directly from the manufacturer. For certain international orders, inventory transfers between warehouses may add time. If any delay is expected, we will let you know the dispatch date.
Delivery and tracking
Deliveries are handled by trusted carriers such as USPS, UPS, FedEx, and DHL. Estimated arrival times appear at checkout and depend on your location and the service you choose. These are estimates and can be affected by customs or carrier disruptions. A shipping confirmation with a tracking link is emailed when your order ships, and tracking may take up to 24 hours to update. You can also view tracking in your account.
Duties, taxes, and support
International customers are responsible for any customs duties, taxes, and fees charged by the destination country. If these charges are refused and a shipment returns to us, the carrier’s return cost and any re-entry customs fees will be deducted from the refund. If your order is late or you need help, contact cs@qualityboatparts.com and we will assist you.
Quality Boat Parts is a reseller. Many items include a manufacturer’s warranty, and all warranty service is handled directly by the manufacturer. We do not manage or administer warranty claims on behalf of customers.
Warranty terms, coverage, and duration are set by each manufacturer. Issues involving defects, repairs, or replacements must be addressed with the manufacturer’s support team. When available, the warranty period is listed on the product page. If it is not shown, contact us or the manufacturer for details before purchasing.
To start a claim, the customer must contact the manufacturer and follow their process. Keep your proof of purchase and original packaging, and register the product if the manufacturer requires it, as these are often needed for warranty service.
We are happy to help you find the right contact or documentation, but we cannot decide outcomes or intervene in claim resolutions. For guidance, email cs@qualityboatparts.com.
