Overview
The Garmin BlueChart g3 Vision HD is an electronic chart for the South America East Coast region, covering the coastline from the Golfo de Paria to Tierra del Fuego.
Coverage includes Trinidad and Tobago, the Lago de Brasilia, the Rio de la Plata, the Rio Uruguay to Salto (Uruguay), the Rio Parana to Parana (Argentina), and the Falkland Islands (Islas Malvinas).
It adds chart detail like spot soundings, depth contours, tides and currents, plus planning tools like Auto Guidance route suggestions and depth range shading for up to 10 depth ranges. In areas where the data supports it, you also get tighter bottom detail with up to 1-foot contours.

Variants
This chart is offered in multiple configurations so you can match the chart version and delivery method that fits your setup.
Configurations vary by BlueChart version (BlueChart g3 Vision or BlueChart g3) and by format (preprogrammed SD card or download). Coverage is the same South America East Coast region across the range.

Compatibility and fit
This is Garmin cartography intended for compatible Garmin marine chartplotters and supported marine handhelds. Your unit must support BlueChart g3 or BlueChart g3 Vision charts and have the matching storage method for the version you buy.
If you are running an older plotter, verify that it reads BlueChart g3 format before ordering. For SD card versions, confirm you have an SD or microSD slot available; for download versions, confirm your unit supports chart downloads for this product family.
Installation and setup
For SD card versions, insert the preprogrammed card into the chartplotter and enable the chart layer in your chart selection or map setup menu. Keep the card installed while you want this coverage available.
For download versions, install the chart to a compatible unit using Garmin’s chart installation workflow, then select the chart in the same chart setup area on the display.
Use on board
This chart is a good match for coastal cruising, fishing, and longer passages along the Atlantic side of South America when you want depth information, tides and currents, and clear harbor detail in one place.
Auto Guidance is a planning tool. Always cross-check the suggested route against local conditions, updated information, and what you see on the water.

International customers are responsible for any customs duties, taxes, and fees charged by the destination country. Quality Boat Parts is a reseller. Many items include a manufacturer’s warranty, and all warranty service is handled directly by the manufacturer. We do not manage or administer warranty claims on behalf of customers.
Warranty terms, coverage, and duration are set by each manufacturer. Issues involving defects, repairs, or replacements must be addressed with the manufacturer’s support team. When available, the warranty period is listed on the product page. If it is not shown, contact us or the manufacturer for details before purchasing.
To start a claim, the customer must contact the manufacturer and follow their process. Keep your proof of purchase and original packaging, and register the product if the manufacturer requires it, as these are often needed for warranty service.
