Installation and setup

For the microSD/SD card format, insert the card into the chartplotter to use the chart region. For download formats, use Garmin Express to install the chart data to a microSD/SD card, then insert that card into the registered chartplotter.

Many of the update and premium-content functions are managed through the ActiveCaptain app on a compatible setup. Keeping the chartplotter connected for updates makes it easier to stay current without pulling cards in and out frequently.

Updates and subscription notes

The included one-year subscription covers chart updates and access to downloadable content during the subscription period. After the subscription ends, charts and features that were already downloaded remain on the card, but new updates and additional downloads require an active subscription.

Auto Guidance+ is intended for planning and does not replace safe navigation practices on the water.

Duties, taxes, and support
International customers are responsible for any customs duties, taxes, and fees charged by the destination country. If these charges are refused and a shipment returns to us, the carrier’s return cost and any re-entry customs fees will be deducted from the refund.
