Overview

The Raymarine CPT-110 is a urethane through-hull CHIRP DownVision transducer for compatible Raymarine sonar systems, giving boat owners depth, temperature, standard sonar, and DownVision imaging from a fixed hull installation. It is built for use with Raymarine CP100, a68, and a78 systems, and it suits hulls with deadrise angles from 0 to 25 degrees when installed with the supplied fairing block.

This transducer uses a 25-degree conical sonar beam and a DownVision fan beam that is wide from port to starboard and thin from fore to aft. The 10 m cable gives installers practical routing length for reaching the display or sonar module from a through-hull location, while the listed 210.8 mm length and 131.8 mm maximum height help with space checks before cutting the hull.

Key features
  • Through-hull CHIRP DownVision transducer for a fixed below-waterline sonar installation.
  • Depth and temperature sensing in one transducer body, with no speed sensor included.
  • Compatible with Raymarine CP100, a68, and a78 systems.
  • Works with hull deadrise angles from 0 to 25 degrees when installed with the supplied fairing block.
  • 25-degree conical sonar beam for standard fishfinder returns.
  • DownVision fan beam gives a wide side-to-side view with a thin fore-and-aft profile for structure imaging.
  • Typical depth performance is 189 m, or 600 ft, depending on installation, water conditions, and bottom type.
  • 10 m cable supports routing from the through-hull mounting point to the helm or sonar module location.
  • Approximate transducer dimensions are 210.8 mm long by 131.8 mm maximum height.
Installation and setup

The CPT-110 is intended for a permanent through-hull installation, so hull thickness, interior access, bilge clearance, cable routing, and the running surface of the hull should be checked before drilling. The supplied fairing block helps position the transducer correctly on hulls with deadrise, which matters for clean sonar returns while the boat is moving.

Mounting location has a direct effect on sonar quality. The transducer should sit in solid water flow, away from turbulence caused by strakes, through-hull fittings, steps, propellers, or aerated water. On planing powerboats, placement should be chosen with care so the face of the transducer can stay in usable water at the speeds where sonar performance is needed.

Compatibility and use on board

This model is a practical match for boats using compatible Raymarine DownVision equipment where the owner wants a below-hull transducer rather than a transom-mount option. It fits fishing boats, cruisers, and trailerable boats where depth, bottom detail, and water temperature are useful for navigation, fishing, and reading bottom structure.

The 10 m cable is useful on installations where the sonar module or multifunction display is not close to the bilge area. As with any sonar installation, avoid routing the cable next to high-current wiring where possible, and leave enough service loop for inspection and future maintenance.

Maintenance and care

After installation, keep the exposed transducer surface clean so growth, slime, or paint buildup does not block the sonar signal. Regular checks are especially important for boats kept in saltwater, warm-water marinas, or areas with heavy fouling. Inspect the through-hull area during haul-outs and confirm that the cable remains secure and protected inside the hull.

Quality Boat Parts is a reseller. Many items include a manufacturer’s warranty, and all warranty service is handled directly by the manufacturer. We do not manage or administer warranty claims on behalf of customers.

Warranty terms, coverage, and duration are set by each manufacturer. Issues involving defects, repairs, or replacements must be addressed with the manufacturer’s support team. When available, the warranty period is listed on the product page. If it is not shown, contact us or the manufacturer for details before purchasing.

To start a claim, the customer must contact the manufacturer and follow their process. Keep your proof of purchase and original packaging, and register the product if the manufacturer requires it, as these are often needed for warranty service.

We are happy to help you find the right contact or documentation, but we cannot decide outcomes or intervene in claim resolutions. For guidance, email cs@qualityboatparts.com.
