Overview
The Raymarine Digital Radar Extension Cable is a cable range for extending the connection run on compatible Raymarine digital radar installations. It is available in 2.5 m, 5 m, and 10 m lengths, giving installers a clean way to bridge extra distance between the radar scanner location and the vessel’s electronics routing path.
This cable is used with Raymarine digital radomes and HD/SHD digital open array radar systems. It is a practical fit when the radar is mounted on a mast, radar arch, hardtop, or other elevated location where the original cable path does not reach the display or network area without an extension.
Key features
- Extension cable range for Raymarine digital radar installations.
- Compatible with Raymarine digital radomes and HD/SHD digital open array radar systems.
- Available in 2.5 m, 5 m, and 10 m lengths to suit different cable routing layouts.
- Helps manage longer cable runs through a mast, arch, hardtop, cabin liner, or console area.
- Useful for refits and new installations where the radar scanner location sits farther from the electronics hub.
Variants
The product is offered in multiple cable lengths so the same radar extension can be matched to the vessel’s installation route.
The cable length changes between variants. The product type and intended use remain focused on Raymarine digital radar extension applications.
- A92141D: 2.5 m cable length. This shorter extension suits installations where only a small amount of extra reach is needed behind a console, through a hardtop, or near the radar mounting point.
- A55080D: 5 m cable length. This mid-length option gives more routing flexibility for typical runs through a radar arch, cabin top, or helm area without moving to the longest cable in the range.
- A55081D: 10 m cable length. This longer extension is suited to taller masts, longer deck runs, or refit layouts where the radar cable path needs more distance before reaching the electronics area.
Installation and setup
Before installation, the cable path should be measured along the actual route, not in a straight line. Allow space for service loops, bends, cable supports, and the path through bulkheads or tubing so the selected length reaches without tension at either end.
On boats exposed to salt spray and vibration, the cable should be supported along the run and kept away from sharp edges, heat sources, and moving hardware. Any deck or bulkhead penetrations should be sealed as part of the vessel installation so the radar wiring remains protected over time.
Compatibility and fit
This cable is intended for Raymarine digital radar systems, including digital radomes and HD/SHD digital open array radar installations. It should be matched to the radar model, existing cable run, and connector layout already on the boat before purchase.
It is a good match for owners and installers who already have the correct Raymarine radar system in place but need extra cable length for a clean, serviceable installation.
Shipping
We ship worldwide from the United States. Rates are calculated at checkout based on destination and package weight. Some items include free shipping, which will show automatically. Not every product is eligible for international shipping; checkout will confirm eligibility. We do not ship to PO Boxes except through USPS, and not all packages qualify.
Processing and dispatch
Most orders are verified, packed, and handed to the carrier within 1 to 2 business days. Some products may need extra handling time or ship directly from the manufacturer. For certain international orders, inventory transfers between warehouses may add time. If any delay is expected, we will let you know the dispatch date.
Delivery and tracking
Deliveries are handled by trusted carriers such as USPS, UPS, FedEx, and DHL. Estimated arrival times appear at checkout and depend on your location and the service you choose. These are estimates and can be affected by customs or carrier disruptions. A shipping confirmation with a tracking link is emailed when your order ships, and tracking may take up to 24 hours to update. You can also view tracking in your account.
Duties, taxes, and support
International customers are responsible for any customs duties, taxes, and fees charged by the destination country. If these charges are refused and a shipment returns to us, the carrier’s return cost and any re-entry customs fees will be deducted from the refund. If your order is late or you need help, contact cs@qualityboatparts.com and we will assist you.
Quality Boat Parts is a reseller. Many items include a manufacturer’s warranty, and all warranty service is handled directly by the manufacturer. We do not manage or administer warranty claims on behalf of customers.
Warranty terms, coverage, and duration are set by each manufacturer. Issues involving defects, repairs, or replacements must be addressed with the manufacturer’s support team. When available, the warranty period is listed on the product page. If it is not shown, contact us or the manufacturer for details before purchasing.
To start a claim, the customer must contact the manufacturer and follow their process. Keep your proof of purchase and original packaging, and register the product if the manufacturer requires it, as these are often needed for warranty service.
We are happy to help you find the right contact or documentation, but we cannot decide outcomes or intervene in claim resolutions. For guidance, email cs@qualityboatparts.com.
