The anchor-rode is a vital component that connects the anchor to the boat, playing a crucial role in ensuring stability during mooring. Its strength and reliability are paramount, particularly at the splice where the rope and chain are joined. Quick, a renowned marine brand, has innovatively designed a slim splice system that offers significant advantages. Compared to traditional splices, Quick's slim splice is remarkably slimmer and more tapered, effectively preventing the common issue of jamming that often occurs when transitioning from rope to chain during anchoring.
Quick's Slim Splice comprises a precisely calibrated chain combined with a top-quality 3-strand polyester rope. This meticulous pairing ensures optimum strength and longevity, providing boaters with a reliable and durable anchor-rode solution. The calibrated chain is carefully crafted to meet the highest standards of performance and durability, while the premium 3-strand polyester rope offers excellent resistance to abrasion, UV degradation, and general wear and tear commonly encountered in marine environments.
By employing Quick's Slim Splice, boaters can have peace of mind, knowing that their anchor-rode is built to withstand the demanding conditions of mooring. The streamlined design reduces the chances of rope and chain entanglement, enabling smoother and hassle-free anchor deployment and retrieval. Whether you're anchoring in calm waters or facing more challenging sea conditions, Quick's Slim Splice ensures a reliable connection between your anchor and boat, providing the confidence you need to enjoy your boating adventures to the fullest.
Investing in Quick's Slim Splice means investing in a high-performance anchor-rode system that combines innovation, durability, and ease of use. Don't compromise on the essential connection between your boat and anchor—choose Quick's Slim Splice for a reliable, efficient, and hassle-free anchoring experience.

International customers are responsible for any customs duties, taxes, and fees charged by the destination country. Quality Boat Parts is a reseller. Many items include a manufacturer’s warranty, and all warranty service is handled directly by the manufacturer. We do not manage or administer warranty claims on behalf of customers.
Warranty terms, coverage, and duration are set by each manufacturer. Issues involving defects, repairs, or replacements must be addressed with the manufacturer’s support team. When available, the warranty period is listed on the product page. If it is not shown, contact us or the manufacturer for details before purchasing.
To start a claim, the customer must contact the manufacturer and follow their process. Keep your proof of purchase and original packaging, and register the product if the manufacturer requires it, as these are often needed for warranty service.
We are happy to help you find the right contact or documentation, but we cannot decide outcomes or intervene in claim resolutions. For guidance, email cs@qualityboatparts.com.
